> 3 dayPros: - After falling from 2 meters it still works :) - Encryption Cons: - Its not SSD, so its slow and makes some noise - The built-in security software is not working properly and I needed to download the software from WD website, a non-technical person may not be able to deal with this situation.

> 3 dayit toke forever to figure out how to load my stuff into it!!! still, i have no patience to try and figure out all its features, only by trying i figured out how to add files, i still am not sure if i did it correctly. they is no instruction, i went on youtube and didnt find a much helpful video there. i loved the 1st one i owned by the same company, but after 3-4 years its failing to evn open. all my saved important files in it are still to be transferred to this new WD. i just hope i can do it since it fails to open and load my stuff.

Greater than one weekBought this to use with my PS4 to expand storage. Couple of simple steps on the PS4 to set it up and voila, now I have 2.5 terabytes to use for games! I also bought some sticky velcro pads so I could mount this little (lightweight) hard drive on the surface of the PS4. So far, so good.

> 3 dayThis little pocket style drive is about as good as these get. It is simple to use. Plug and Play. Any method for copying or loading files to a hard drive works well. I do have one little thing that bothers me but it may be software/system related. If I am copying a lot of folders that contain many files, the data transfer rate slows down. I have found tat the drive is fastest when transferring large files and very few folders.70 MB/sec avg. transfer speed. I play large 1080P video files straight from this drive without a single issue. For 2 TB of storage for such a low cost, I had to give this drive an overall 5 stars. I have dealt with Western Digital one time on a broken drive under warranty. They treat customers very well and do whatever they can to keep you happy. I phoned them, reported the issue and had a new drive within a few days.

> 3 dayWell, so far its working fine and Ive had it for over 6 months now, but going through the reviews has me in constant fear of when it decides to stop working. Hard Drives arent really made to be moved around so I try to keep it on a level surface and stationary when using it. My plan is to buy a SSD external drive when Ive got the money and opportunity and use it as a secondary backup. As for now, I say if youre willing to be careful, then its a worthwhile buy.

> 3 dayFirst thing I did when I got this was to format it because I dont really care for what came installed out of the box. Capacity is awesome and USB 3.0 helps transfer speeds considerably. Absolutely no complaints. I plan on getting another one very soon. For those curious, I use mine for backing up my movies, TV shows, roms, and other things ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

> 3 dayBought it for the password protection capability, which works really well. The write speed is not consistent and slower than other external hard drives I have used before.

> 3 dayBeing previously familiar with WD ext hard drive products, this 2TB unit I purchased was easy to setup/use right out of the box. We backup hundreds of our family photos, along w/ company and personal business files. WD is highly reliable with a very quick speed for boot up, despite it not being an SSD. I would certainly purchase again from WD.
