If you are looking for a good external SSD to use for PS4 games on the PS5, look no further. Fast, fast, fast so long as you use the included usb c to usb c port. Load times are just as good as internal ssd.

If you are looking for a SSD fast enough for the new systems , look no further.The read write speeds are overkill and never lags.

This is a blazingly fast external hard drive that is very capable and super rugged! I use this for a bit of gaming and the load times are incredibly fast. But mostly I use this as a rugged, go anywhere, external drive for traveling, mostly bike packing, long touring trips, etc. It has never let me down.

When I got this I was a bit disappointed. Kiddo has an entry level gaming laptop (hes almost 8, entry is about all I trust him with right now) that gets full rather easy and the biggest space hog is his Steam library. I was hoping this would be a quick fix to moving the games off his laptop without a loss of performance. But moving the games took FOREVER and he kept knocking the external SSD around on his small desk. It also gets a bit warm when taxing it, so I called it a fail, and just ended up upgrading his internal M.2 SSD instead.

I used this for gaming on my PS5 for the past 6 months or so. Definitely of good quality and material.

Good value, smaller in size than I thought. Would recommend for gaming.

Nice, like the style and feel of it, it has been downloading since I have gotten it, so like about 2 hours ago, and its a little warm but nothing crazy or worry some. Only complaint is maybe the price but honestly, seems a bit worth it so far,but honestly I think they could maybe make a more economical version that has similar capability and such but maybe not as durable, bit idk over all I am satisfied so far. Will update in about a week to ad use still time temp with no downloads in progress.
