> 3 dayI have been using Webroot for at least 3 years. So far, I have not had any serious problems with hackers or virus. Some minor problems were solved by shutting down the computer and restarting. Amazon price is better than going to the Webroot website. Called tech support to get help loading the update, which was taken care of quickly.

> 3 dayUpon initial install Id have to say Im very impressed and quite pleased with this product. Most of my reviews include the detail that Im legally blind. Being visually limited is often a major factor when I select technology based products. It must be easy to use and easy for me to see as well. Webroots Internet Security Complete gets high marks on both ease of use and ease of viewing. I had been using Microsoft Security Essentials since 2013 and felt it left a lot to be desired. Over time my computer began to drag, freeze and crash. Admittedly by the five year mark my tower is antiquated but I know how it operates, Im comfortable with it and I was loathe to set it aside for a newer model. Suspecting that Microsofts SE was not covering all the security bases I went in search of a better antivirus software package. I researched different packages, considered the pros and cons of each product and read reviews. Finally I settled on Webroots Internet Security Complete. I chose this level of the product because I wanted all the bells and whistles. I didnt want to regret not having additional options at a later date. As the product name indicates Ive got the complete package. Being old school and not completely trustful of online, software downloads I purchased the CD version of Internet Security Complete. The software installed quickly and easily. During installation it ran its first scan and detected four virus threats. My suspicions were confirmed - SE was not protecting me as Id hoped. Once the threats were removed Internet Security Complete rebooted my system and then ran a Malware scan. Yet another threat was detected. Consider me gobsmacked *and* thrilled by this products quality and effectiveness. Pairing this software up with CCleaner and a more aggressive anti-malware product I am very optimistic that my antiquated tower might still have some processing life in it yet... hopefully many *years* of smooth operation to come. I cant say enough good things about Webroots Internet Security Complete. This is definitely 5 star caliber software in my opinion. Note: Following the instructions at Microsofts website I disabled SE before installing Internet Security Complete. Here is the link for the details on how to disable/turn off Microsoft Security Essentials... https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/windows/en-US/ccdbae46-4b69-472d-ba55-b30dbf5f909c/preventing-the-microsoft-antimalware-service-to-start-automatically?forum=w7itprosecurity

> 3 dayIve had Webroot installed for about 6 weeks now. This replaced Kaspersky Total Security. I run Windows 10 Home on an older Dell laptop. I can only presume Webroot is doing what it says it is. It runs a scan every day in the background and it is hardly noticeable. Kaspersky used all but freeze my system for hours. Task manager would show 100% disk or 98% CPU usage. Kaspersky would run a rootkit scan and a quick scan at least once a day, One complaint I have about webroot is there are no logs or reports (that Ive been able to find thus far) to review its activity. Im very pleased with how my system is running. I spent a couple days reading reviews on various packages and this seemed highly rated.

> 3 dayHave used Webroot for five years running. Biggest reason for switching and staying this long has been that it is not very intrusive and does not consume resources and thus slow down the computer. This is the second time i bought from Amazon. Make sure you install it just when your subscription/ coverage is about to end. Otherwise you lose the remaining portion of your existing coverage. I dont recall it was like this the last time i purchased from Amazon. Upon contacting Webroot, I didnt receive any credit/recourse.

> 3 dayMost other security software tend to get in the way and slow down te computer, or to take forever to get their updates, or to want constant inputs from the user. Webroot does its job effectively and fast. Any, by the way, it also works with WinXP as well.

> 3 dayI switched the home machines after over a decade from Norton to Webroot and it seems to work fine. We had web performance issues with Norton over the past 2 or 3 years so I switched to this product. It seems our performance is a bit better than under Norton and I like the five pack. I never liked McAfee, even when it came for free on computers and Im not trusting my internet security to a company based in Moscow (Kaspersky).

> 3 daySeems to do what its supposed to do. Bought it at a substantial discount. There are features that allow you to store things on a remote server aka cloud. I am wondering if when it is time to renew, I will be able to get a sale price again or will my remotely stored files be held for ransom if I dont pay MSRP.

> 3 dayWebroot has caught many threats to my computers. It works automatically and can also be worked manually. Their are also some settings that users may choose from that may cover some special concerns. It is fast as it is configured. But I found one threat that it had missed by going directly to the whole operating system, C: drive, and start the app from there. It took a long time to run that way, and it only caught one threat. I plan to use it this way only twice a year. And I will renew my contract soon. UPDATE - 10/17/15: All of the above is or was true, Im jut angry with them. The CD they sent me would not accept the Product Code, the on line help is all robotic. I wasted two hours and got nowhere. Im leaving the 4-STARS posted, but Im sending the software back and changing my digital security to Norton.
