> 3 dayI checked reviews from the top rated security programs and this one rated the highest. I have only had it a short time but it seems to be working real good. I got the one that secures 5 devices because I have many devices that needed it, i.e. laptop, desktop, phone, tablet, etc. so it was nice that it covered everything. The only annoying thing was it kept notifying me on my phone that I had security, but I put it in the background so it wasnt showing up all the time. I prefer it to work in the background. Other than that I have had no problems with it.

> 3 dayIve had Webroot installed for about 6 weeks now. This replaced Kaspersky Total Security. I run Windows 10 Home on an older Dell laptop. I can only presume Webroot is doing what it says it is. It runs a scan every day in the background and it is hardly noticeable. Kaspersky used all but freeze my system for hours. Task manager would show 100% disk or 98% CPU usage. Kaspersky would run a rootkit scan and a quick scan at least once a day, One complaint I have about webroot is there are no logs or reports (that Ive been able to find thus far) to review its activity. Im very pleased with how my system is running. I spent a couple days reading reviews on various packages and this seemed highly rated.

> 3 daySuper value - Webroot wanted $49 to renew my service. I let it expire, bought this version, deleted the old one, and voila - - works perfectly. What Webroot doesnt want you to know is that this program is automatically updated VIA the cloud, hence you always have the latest version. Shopping around does pay, and Amazon once again comes through. (Same thing happened last year; Webroot wanted $39 to renew, bought it here for $19.) Many software security programs (i.e. Iolo System Mechanic) allow you to renew at a nominal fee - - like $14.95, but for some reason Webroot wants to take you to the cleaners! Must be a lot of commissioned salespeople in that company . . . .!

09-04-2025Ive had Webroot virus protection for sometime now and am well pleased with the product. I originally got it from the Best But Geek Squad. I was disappointed in the service I was receiving from the GS and wanted to eliminate them from the equation, so I contacted Webroot directly. I was very happy with the Webroot service. The quality of the product and Webroots willingness to help me is why I purchased this software.

> 3 dayPowerful threat finder but doesnt do well on Time Machine back ups. Will find threats on backup drive but cant remove them. It seems that all the popular Virus remover software have the same limitations with Time Machine. The big negative for me is that you cant select a single attached drive to scan. The choice is to scan everything including all the attached drives or just scan the main drive. I would like the ability, like some other virus software, even free virus software, to scan individual drives or individual folders or directories or even individual files.

> 3 daySCAM! Do not buy this is a complete scam! I’ve always used webroot and love it, and decided to buy this and it was the worst decision I ever made! Nothing downloaded nor the the keycard work on any device!

> 3 dayIve used Webroot since about 2008 and am very pleased with it. The scans run very quickly and very accurately. I think I actually only ever had one real problem and that was a couple of years ago. Webroot support helped me through it and was able to get my pc back running. I like this version for the multiple device usage. And I use a version on my tablet as well. The only thing I didnt like was their pricing. It was cheaper to buy this hear, wait until my current subscription was about to run out and then update the new keycode and wha-la, I have another year of coverage. And again, I bought it this year (2016) here vs. directly renewing from them because of the price.

> 3 dayBuying directly from Webroot is foolish as their pricing structure is so expensive. I was able to get this at half the cost.
