This has really added to the usability of our maglite.

Easy to install, seems to be clear so far. I havent used the flashlights much yet. Well see if they wont scratch like the stick plastic lenses.

I upgraded my Mini Mag Lite to LED , and was very pleased with its new intensity. So, I reached from my 30 year old 2 D-Cell Maglite next. This caught my eye as well- I didnt realize the original Lens was plastic, and was scuffed and scratched because, hey, I said it was 30 years old! With both the LED bulb replacement and this lens- WOW! what a difference. Go For it!

I was very impressed when I opened the package not only was the lens glass but they also sent a new o-ring with it. I was surely expecting a plastic lens and was not expecting a new o-ring.

Suitable replacement for my 4x D Cell Maglite. Measured 2mm thick with my calipers. Glass is durable and scratch resistant -- I just dropped it from a height of about 3 feet onto my desk while unscrewing the head to measure it with my calipers, and then I dropped the flashlight head on top of it, and then it bounced and landed on the floor. No chips, scratches, or cracks yet. I reckon Im good for another 15 years or so.

This lens replacement really is nice. Clear and feels like a quality lens. My old one got badly scratched sitting in my truck. I am very happy with this replacement. It was very well packaged. The really cool part is, it comes in a plastic container. The reason this is cool is because the lid on the plastic container fits perfectly on the Maglite as a lens protector. If you are on the fence, say buy it. You wont be disappointed.

Glass, not plastic. Clear and simple swap out. Replace my 25 year old mag lite (just recently replaced with LED) lenses. Recommend. Great detail to shipping. Came in very sturdy plastic holder..
