bought for my new 2 D cell LED flashlight only to find out the lens cap doesnt come off. its not one of the ML series listed for not fitting. just make sure your lens can be removed before purchasing. this is actually a very good high quality product. my only issue is with Maglite making their LED flashlights non-serviceable. it does fit other flashlights though, I ended up using it in my snap on 2 cell flashlight.

Mag lights last forever, but the lens eventually gets scratched up. I converted my light to a LED bulb and got a new lens so I’d get the most out of it. It worked out great!

This lens replacement really is nice. Clear and feels like a quality lens. My old one got badly scratched sitting in my truck. I am very happy with this replacement. It was very well packaged. The really cool part is, it comes in a plastic container. The reason this is cool is because the lid on the plastic container fits perfectly on the Maglite as a lens protector. If you are on the fence, say buy it. You wont be disappointed.

Advice... dont mix up the gaskets! The gasket that comes with the lens fits inside the bezel before putting the lens in. It IS NOT for the base of the male threads on the body of the flashlight reflector after unscrewing the bezel, which is a slightly larger gasket. I accidentally put the new o-ring on the male treads and tried to put my old reflector gasket inside the bezel. This prevented me from being able to tighten the bezel all the way in order to focus and fine tune the beam. Now that I figured it out & switched the gaskets back, it is focused down to a very fine bright center beam. Very happy with this purchase now!

Did not notice any yellowing or whatnot on the plastic OEM lens. Seemed just fine. Or not! The glass lens is clearly superior. Pun intended. It does not magnify or focus the beam, nor did it create a miniature Hubble. Makes a huge difference on effective light output. Get one.

I ordered this lens for my 3 cell C size Mag but, apparently, its not considered a full size C since its an OEM LED Mag. I highly recommend measuring the diameter of your current lens before ordering one of these! Regardless, I just so happened to have a D size Mag that was also in need of a new lens. Replacing the factory plastic lens with this one made a very noticeable difference. Im losing MUCH less light to the sides now (glare) so Im getting a good increase in distance thrown! The clarity is exceptional, the glass is indeed real glass and its slightly thicker than OEM but, still fits perfectly. A great upgrade to any Maglite!

I replaced the original plastic lens with this glass lens, its like having a new flashlight. The lens is super clear and it being glass, I have no fear of scratching it when cleaning. The lens arrived well packaged in a plastic container and had additional plastic film covering the surfaces. I definitely recommend this as a replacement over the original Maglite plastic lens.

Paired this up with an LED bulb conversion and now my Maglight is a light saber!

I Dont know about durability. I have not done a breakage test. Fit and finish good,and very clear. It is supposed to be hardened glass.

Only issue is it wouldnt work with the provided O ring. Im using without it.
