This purchase was part of an upgrade to LED for a Mag-Lite thats 15 to 20 y/o. This new lens was housed in a plastic container and protected by a sheer plastic film that peeled off easily revealing a flawless (no fingerprints or smudges) glass lens. Was a perfect fit! (I placed the old scratched plastic lens in the plastic box in the remote case I may need it.) I tested the beam before and after this lens. Its a crisp beam now! Very pleased.

5 stars for nice clear and fit, bought several to fix up old maglites. Im afraid they will break really easy though, but I may get a couple of extra Just in case. If your upgrading to led this lens is the icing of the cake.

Suitable replacement for my 4x D Cell Maglite. Measured 2mm thick with my calipers. Glass is durable and scratch resistant -- I just dropped it from a height of about 3 feet onto my desk while unscrewing the head to measure it with my calipers, and then I dropped the flashlight head on top of it, and then it bounced and landed on the floor. No chips, scratches, or cracks yet. I reckon Im good for another 15 years or so.

I ordered this lens for my 3 cell C size Mag but, apparently, its not considered a full size C since its an OEM LED Mag. I highly recommend measuring the diameter of your current lens before ordering one of these! Regardless, I just so happened to have a D size Mag that was also in need of a new lens. Replacing the factory plastic lens with this one made a very noticeable difference. Im losing MUCH less light to the sides now (glare) so Im getting a good increase in distance thrown! The clarity is exceptional, the glass is indeed real glass and its slightly thicker than OEM but, still fits perfectly. A great upgrade to any Maglite!

Came with gasket nice quality glass fit my 3 D Mag Life perfectly. Also added LED lite upgrade significant improvement no more black dot with tight focus. Delivered earlier than expected. Lots 15+ years old.

Great value and works well. Im not seeing the Its thicker than the other lens problem people have mentioned. It is a millimeter or so thicker but it didnt seem to matter.
