Isnt technology grand! Easy setup! Directions are fairly clear. Read the tip: setup the WiON close to your cell/tablet and follow the app instructions, -Plug the unit in -run the app -enter the info I purchased this unit to regulate power, 3 hours on, 5 hours off for 24 hours a day. Easy as pie to set the on and off times within the app. What did confuse me a little is the power off and on button which took me a few minutes to realize is an override for the programmed timers.

This What is a purchase of being addition to add to our Wi-Fi control systems. Over the past three years they have been very reliable.

It has a bug. using the timer.. the App does not immediately display the fact that the switch is off. It only works if you restart the App. The software needs to be fixed. If they fix it.. itll work well.

I use it to remotely turn a space heater on in my work shop. Simple set up and works every time.

The device is supposed to connect to your homes router, but when I scan for networks, it doesnt see either of my two home Wi-Fi networks. It sees my neighbors networks, but doesnt see mine. There must me some incompatibility with my router. My internet service is Spectrum and the router is provided by Spectrum. Without being able to connect to your router makes it useless.

I like these plugs but the photo is very misleading. You have to read down a long way to find out youre getting one plug.

Can’t beat wion products. After trying zwave and other products for 4 sets of low voltage lights in a large yard I found wion. WiFi is the reliable way to go if your home network is strong.

These keep getting cheaper. We had an issue of connecting to multiple devices. We fixed this by using the one all home iPad and there are no more issues of dropping outlet. We have a total of 7 now. Shared with coworkers and friends. Then they bought some. No it doesn’t connect to Alexa but I’m ok with that.

10 minutes to install and test the system. My original low voltage landscape lighting unit is ole school dial timer switch. Each season I would painstakingly remove the timer pegs to align with the new dusk/dawn (sunrise-sunfall). Most times it was miss instead of hit. I would play with these pegs and finally get it right-so lights come on just at night fall. Just as I got it timed right, it is time to change seasons(daylight savings central time-zone USA). 1.Installed the free app. 2. Plugged the WiON directly in electrical outlet where landscape light box was previously plugged 3. Plugged light box into Wion 4. In App setup the on & off times according to local sunset-sunrise data. 5 Sit back enjoy hands- free control of landscape lights. First attempt in getting this item to function was highly successful. Also noticed that I could manually control the lights with my smartphone through the free APP. This coming Fall season, I can simply see what time it gets dark and go to the app and set that time for each day of the week. Awesome function, convenience & price for automating my exterior lighting!

I already had an outdoor Wion outlet, so it was a no-brainer to get these indoor models. Set up is so easy, and you can set a timer for the outlet. App is easy to use.
