AC Infinity AIRCOM S9, Quiet Cooling Fan System 17 Top-Exhaust for Receivers, Amps, DVR, AV Cabinet Components

Using this model on top of my 20 year old 5 channel Parasound amp. Hoping to lengthen the life of my equipment a little longer. Very well made. Both the Manual and Auto features work like a charm. Also bought an S8 for a new Denon X3700H receiver used only in preamp mode. Everything in the rack is nice and cool.

Even with the cabinet doors open where I keep my amp and nothing blocking the vents it would get too warm and keep resetting while watching. This solved that issue immediately. Three strong fans pulling the hot air out of the amp and then another fan pulling air out if the cabinet. I can actually close the doors now.

Seems to be put together well. At low fan settings I cant hear the fan. But 50% and over it can drowned out dialogue if sitting near tv. If equipment rig can be set up in a different room than this is no problem. But can be a distraction if listening to music or movies with little action or a lot of talking. At least when fan settings is 50% or more. Not a deal breaker but fan noise needs improvement.

Very pleased so far with the cooling fan. It is well made and sturdy. It works like a charm kicking on and off as needed. In fact the fans are so quiet that I had to put a piece of tissue paper on top of the fans to see if they were kicking on and off and then watch the paper to move to see if the fans were running. So 2 thumbs up

Keeps my Anthem 720 nice and cooooool. Never goes above half speed very quiet quality build. I am very happy with purchase and performance.

No clipping due to heat anymore. Dont listen loud very often but when I do its frustrating for Amp to shutdown in middle of favorite jam. NOT ANYMORE. Operates as

given all of the great reviews i purchased three s9 units for my av equipment, unfortunately when the fans arrived i quickly discovered that the large surface area of the fan chassis, the large surface area that does not actually contain fans, covers far too many vent holes of every piece of equipment i own.

I was using laptop coolers but these are constructed more durably and are much more efficient. They have an LED light that tells you what position the fan is in speed wise and can be a distraction however a little dab of electrical tape does the trick.
