I cant believe ACER sends out computers that are not completely assembled. The HDD Upgrade Kit came in a plastic envelope. The model I bought is not listed in the ACER site, so Im guessing the instructions for a similar model number should do. The first thing they tell you is that this should be performed by a qualified technician (which Im not). The second thing they tell you that any damage you cause while installing this kit will void the computers warranty. Why should I have to take apart a brand new computer to install parts that should have been installed by ACER? The least they can do is send me a voucher so i can get this part installed by a qualified technician at ACERs expense.

It may be because I had the absolute worst computer before this, but this laptop feels life changing. I love it! It has a big, beautiful screen, the keyboard is very comfortable and satisfying to type on. Its big but light and thin. Very sleek looking. Runs well. I feel like I can finally start doing the projects and taking classes that I couldnt before because I couldnt stand more than 5 minutes on my old computer. This computer is great!

It’s alright but hard to scroll and lacks touch screen.

Cons - The laptop has a bit of flex to it. The keyboard is mushy with little tactile response.

Bought this to replace an ageing laptop and it is a gem. Fast and attractive.

We had this computer for a little over a year (just over warranty). Worked fine, but then stopped charging. Took it to local repair shop and they said it was a CCI chip. Called Acer and they wouldnt do anything about it. Will not be purchasing from Acer again.

Everything seems OK, its fast but not lightning fast, doesnt feel fancy but looks like it.

Works very good.

Way lighter and thinner than expected. I dont really feel the need to but the slim version at all for the price/performance this one offers.
