I’m amazed at how fast this laptop is. It starts up extremely fast and all programs load almost instantly. Great purchase so far.

Im feeling ready to thoughtfully review this laptop after a few weeks of use now, and Im currently writing this review on this exact laptop. My husband is in IT and a total computer expert, having built his own computers and maintaining 500+ employees computers and systems at his work. He describes this Acer as a mid-range model. As far as hardware goes, this is a nice model for the price range. It comes with Intel Core i5--which means the speed of the machine is higher for a mainstream model--my husband says for this price range thats a good processor, 8 GB memory--which is becoming the new standard as opposed to 4 GB, and the SSD also makes it faster and possibly give the machine a longer life--this is instead of the old spinning style of hard drives which were slower. There are no moving parts in this computer except for the fan.

The keyboard is a decent size for a laptop -- I have short fat fingers and can type with little to no problems at all --- it seems to be very quick with my wireless internet --and I had no problems at all hooking it up --- Ive been an ACER fan for my last 2 laptops ---- and I usually get about 7 or so years of daily use out of them --- its my only computer. I actually only moved to this New One, because my old ACER laptop wasnt going to have updates for Windows 10 anymore --- so I decided, I probably should update -- love this ACER too

I was needing a new laptop for work and my nephew recommended this one who had already done all the research so I just bought it. Great decision! Very fast, easy to use, love that they keyboard lights up at night. Price is good too.

Startup was rather easy. Browser is Edge, but it also has Foxfire, which I am just starting to get used to. I use the laptop for work only - and once I connected to the office and installed Office 365, I was good to go! I am satisfied!

Battery is horrible all I do on this thing is papers I use word for a short period and then I have to plug it in. Otherwise pretty nice very sleek looks good and tubs good.

Purchased this in December to replace an old HP and what a difference a Solid State makes. Boots up super quick, battery hold charge a long time, the screen quality is excellent and the speed of the processor is great. I am using this for web design and writing and not gaming, so Im not sure how it would hold up for gaming, but for what I need it for, its perfect and cannot beat the price. Hoping it holds up for a long time.
