I have been using this for several purposes.

Love the fast startup, and always appreciate the lighted keyboard. We only use it for web browsing and social programs. We miss the card reader more than I thought we would. We are using an adapter to USB, its fine but not as handy.

I had this laptop for 4 days before it started experiencing problems. First, it would not wake up after going to sleep--I had to do a hard restart every time. Needless to say, it is not good to have to do a hard restart every time you leave the laptop for 30 minutes. After 2 days with customer support, during which they repeatedly instructed me to run a command-line script that is not available on the OS (!!!), I finally got mailing instructions to send it to a service center. It took them 3 weeks to return it. So, after purchasing this laptop, I did not have a laptop for a month.

The screen stopped working after a few months. I sent it into Acer Repair, and within a few weeks of sending it in, they finally got back to me saying that they had found internal liquid leaks - which isnt possible because the laptop was never subjected to conditions that would cause that. Overall, very bad experience and bad experience with customer service at Acer.

Looks goods runs ok but the BATTERY is extremely bad and acer does not honor their warranty, wants you to ship it and blames shipping company for damaging the product religiously. Won’t send you the battery to install yourself

Purchased this piece in January the battery disconnect has already failed. I do not recommend this laptop. What a waste of money

Worked right out of box and so easy to set up, loaded all the data off the cloud, email etc. Great laptop.

I had to return it to acer after 6 months screen stopped working. 8 months later took it to a local repair shop the screen stopped working. Now it shuts down all by its self and if I tap on the screen it comes back on. Going back to HP.

It was for my daughter for college and she loves it
