> 3 daySmart sockets are known to burn out the relay contacts over time. Less expensive units are more prone to this. We will see how long these hold up.

> 3 dayWe had smart plugs earlier and the functionality was amazing nothing to complain. This new buy was the same. Timers work perfectly. This was bought mainly for Christmas lights and they were just functioning perfectly. Did use all, just 2 did it for me and they were perfect.

> 3 dayIm only using one of the plugs right now but it frequently goes offline for no apparent reason, then I have to go through the whole process of setting it up through the smart home app. My bedroom only has one plug to plug in my small fan about 6 feet from the bed, so instead of getting up and down several times a night during the night to turn the fan off and on for my hot flashes, I can just tell Alexa to turn the fan off or on. Its a grewt

> 3 dayHad to download the app. Once that was done, setup was straight dory and easy. Works well. Using Google Home to control and Popotan for timer settings.

> 3 dayEasy to get connected and running. Great for lights and small electronics, I have a tiny space heater in my basement I was hoping to hook up to it. After the first use the plug socket stopped working mid-use. Tried using the same plug socket with just lamp, tried resetting the plug socket. I think that the little space heater blew it out.

> 3 dayAfter many try’s to hook up to WiFi, I finally have hooked them up as smart socket and smart socket 2. It’s nice to control lights or whatever you want by using IPhone.

> 3 dayEasy to install (setup), and work great! I have a couple of smart bulbs that wont work w/ Alexa, but once I plugged the lamps into these sockets...MAGIC! Works on anything you can plug into it. Would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayEasy to install. You need to make sure you have access to your 2.4GHz wifi network. Once you do that the setup is through your phone (iphone in my case) where you find the device using their app over bluetooth and then it gets setup as a wifi device. You can then ask Alexa to search for devices. The only thing I will say is make sure you give the sockets sensible names when you set them up as this is how Alexa identifies them. Eg call the TV one “TV”, etc. They have the ability to add timers too so that works well for me as I have things set up on timers.

> 3 dayIf you look closely, you can see the plug starting to melt! I kept smelling something and couldnt figure out where it was coming from. I had my electric fireplace plugged into a power strip. The fireplace finally just turn off. I found out where the smell was coming from. The app told me I was offline. Be careful not to use a power strip or smart plug to run your fireplace.
