> 3 dayHad to modify, hose that came with it was made wrong did not have the hole drilled out for air to travel threw it. Straight out of the box junk, they must not test these before they leave the factory.. on and off valve is a joke. If you buy, you will have to modify to handle the 125 psi rating. Had three leaks out of the box.

> 3 dayWorks great so far. I chose the steel tank but it is still lighter then my pancake compressor. I keep it at 90 which is conservative but my van can get over 120 in the sun. I am going to get a longer hose so I dont even need to take it out of the back.

> 3 dayThe California Air Tools 10 gal tank is a handy tool to have on hand, but the other reviews describing the fitting as cheap are correct. I ordered the 5 gal tank, filled it with 100 lbs of air, it leaked down to about 70 lbs over night. Couldnt find the leak. I returned it , and ordered the 10 gal tank. When the 10 gal tank arrived, I discovered that it had been purchased and returned by a previous customer. The tank had air in it and had some scuff marks on the bottom of the tank. Im a bit disappointed in Amazon for pulling that sort of transaction. But, the 10 gal tank is much like the 5 gal tank, has cheap fittings. I put 100 lbs of air in it and it leaked down about 5 lbs within 2 or 3 hours. I soap tested it for leaks, but could not find any I cant tell why it is losing air pressure. I will keep it and replace the fitting if it becomes a real problem. Just be prepared to fill the tank before you use it, I dont know how long air will remain in the tank over a long period of time.. I did buy the aluminum tank, it is light, and well built. It should last a long time. I do plan to up grade the fittings later.

Greater than one weekso far so good. its a nice tank. be ready to replace most of the adaptors and shutoff valve accessories, theyre junk. for some reason they add this adhesive that makes it almost impossible to remove without damaging them. lost a star due to that

> 3 dayI guess its going to be ok. I think its got a small leak right out of the box. I dont expect the shut off valve with the lever to live very long. You got to be on the fill valve just right or it wont seal .

> 3 dayUltra light, similarly sized steel tanks are too heavy. This tank is super versatile with male and female quick connections. It can easily be added inline to boast tank capacity of portable compressors. Many tanks only have a screwed on hose with an air chuck for filling tires. Tee fitting conflicts with gauge a little for some what unprofessional configuration.
