Have several cars that have leaky wheels or tires. Bought this because once you fill it, you can quickly top off your tires, without waiting for a small compressor to do its job. In the winter no one wants to wait five minutes to top off one tire. This does it in under 30 seconds. That said I bought a longer coiled air hose, and a squeeze trigger with a built in tire gauge. Hose locks to the tire valve for one-handed operation. Keep in mind you do need access to an air compressor to refill the tank. Handy thing to have and great to put air in tractor tires in the field.

This tank had leaks at 3 locations. I sealed all but the main one at the tank outlet. They need to some work this. I returned the tank to Amazon. California customer service was very easy to deal with, and they said they switched the lock tight supplier, but that is where the good customer support ends. I will order another one, and we shall see. Some of the leaks were really small, as I did the checks in a water tank to identify them...To add to the list very poor customer support. I asked for a replacement for a leaking fitting, and was told to fill out a form on their website. I did that, and heard nothing from them. I wont buy again. I was going to buy a compressor, but with lax support I will not.. After a few more weeks I find another issue. Another leak where the hose is crimped to the fitting. Everything leaks on the tank. So if you order one throw all the fittings away, and get some good ones, as these are junk. One more thing to add. Notice that the seller never responds.

Only fills one tire. Go for the larger size.

I have waited to give a reveiw.I gave it a 3 star because of the brass fitting that come with the tank.I have used this tank for a while. The brass fitting that comes with it are cheap junk. The tank is a nice light weight tank. I changed the brass fittings . It works very well NOW.So if you buy this tank i feel you will want to figure the cost of changing the brass fittings as an extra. FYI.( My tank was sent to some one else,Then shipped back to amazon. Then shipped to me)

It is a great air tank but I wish I would have paid attention to how much it weighs then I would have went with a lighter one. It should last 10 lifetimes but it is super heavy and hard for me to carry around. If youre younger and stronger then go for it you will like it.

California Air Tools are well made. I have a compressor along with this portable air tank. The portable air tank is quick coupled to the compressor for additional air receiver volume.

met my expectations just fine. I wish in a way I had got the aluminum rather than the steel for the light weight but I guess the steel will hold up longer. works just like it is suppose to. filled it with 100lbs of air , brought it home and pumped up both bike tires . no problem. Its all steel so the most that could go wrong is with the fittings and they can be replaced. Soooo, all is good. thanks

My compressor is in the front of the garage. And we have a large back yard, so having to take the lawn tractor, dump trailer or some other cart with aired tires around to the front of the house to add air is nuts, I use this tank to air up tires in the backyard. I have about 14 tires back there. Love it!

Nice tank, seems well made and lightweight as advertised. HOWEVER, the fittings are very low quality and I would have preferred to save $15 and not have them included. Right out of the box, the tire chuck was leaking. I removed it and noticed the quick connect leaked as well. I replaced the quick connect and filled it up again to find that the 1/4 turn shut off valve wouldnt stop air from coming back out. To top this all up, the T-junction snapped off when I was untying the valve and I had to replace that too.
