I’m always on the lookout for any new sources of supplemental dietary fiber, since it is sometimes hard to get the recommended 25-30 grams a day on just food alone. When I saw that this supplement has psyllium fiber, I was interested, and when I saw the other ingredients of better melon, green tea, turmeric and prebiotic and probiotic blends, I was intrigued. This is like the kitchen sink of fiber supplements – it has a bit of everything. I always mix my fiber supplements with water, so I did the same with this one. I noticed that it does not dissolve as easily as my go-to psyllium fiber, Metamucil. I also noticed that it has a very strong chemical odor and taste, reminding me of petrochemical distillates. Weird. It took me over a week to get over that, and it helps to hold my nose while choking it down. After a couple of weeks, I would say it performs similarly to other psyllium fiber supplements, although I have not had a blood test yet to confirm the efficacy of the cholesterol lowering abilities of this particular supplement. If the dietary fiber content holds true, it should be the same as other psyllium fiber supplements. I really like the addition of the prebiotics and probiotics. Although this supplement has a high price, it should save me money in the long run since I don’t have to take other supplements to cover this. I also appreciate that this supplement is manufactured in the US in a GMP facility along with third party testing to verify the contents. Overall, I would recommend this supplement to anyone who is interested in improving their digestive health and just wants to take one supplement. Just remember to hold your nose while taking it.

This stuff will clean you out for sure! If you have any issues with constipation, this product will do the trick. I do recommend starting with a small amount to see how you react. I tried it on a Friday to make sure I wasn’t indisposed at work. It worked as well as a name brand fiber product and it tasted much better. I don’t think I will need to use use it regularly but it’s good when you need a little help.
