This product is exactly what i was looking for!

Took a couple days for it to take effect, but it worked great. The taste isnt horrible at all. I doesnt give you that mineral, medicine taste at all. Just tastes like youre drinking a great fruit drink. Especially if you out ice in it.

I take psyllium primarily because, as a non-digestible, water-absorbing soluble fiber, it can help lower LDL cholesterol. (It interferes with the absorption of bile acids in the intestines, which forces the bile acids to be excreted out in the stool. This causes the liver to replace those substances by using cholesterol from the blood.) Studies also suggest it can help lower blood pressure, and regulate blood sugar. And its well known as a laxative, too. This product can be made into a simple drink by adding it to water, and it includes some natural flavoring to make it more palatable. The downside of this is that if you prefer to add it to a smoothie (as I do), the flavoring is pretty noticeable. Unlike plain ground psyllium, this product also includes quite a few additional ingredients that can help with digestive and cardiovascular health and blood sugar, including prebiotics, cinnamon, bitter melon, green tea extract, turmeric, and ginger.

It works quickly and is gentle on the stomach.

I am so pleased with this Psyllium Husk product. This is the first I have found that seems to break down in water better and leaves less residue behind in my glass and it tastes great making it even easier to take it every day. I do keep a spoon handy to keep circulating it as it will still settle but, it is still so much finer and easier to drink. I especially like the added ingredients for metabolic and liver support that I don’t have in other similar Psyllium Husk products I have used. I did rate this as 4 out of 5 stars for the price point.

I was hesitant to try this product, but Im so glad I did. It has really helped me relieve my constipation symptoms.

If you are used to Metamucil, this is very similar. The effects and results are the same as Metamucil. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because the strawberry flavor is super overpowering. It needs to be a subtle flavor like other mixes, but this one is super strong. Like I said, it works great, just the flavor is off putting to me.

I read a couple reviews about the taste and I don’t agree with their assessment. I can attest that is tastes just like strawberries. What I like the most is that the after taste is not that strong. I have had other products that were really hard to get down, but MOST IMPORTANTLY IT WORKS!!!!! I hope this is not too much TMI… I had a bowel movement a few hours after taking and I can tell my body was cleansing or purging or whatever you want to call it. I definitely feel less bloated and I am going to make this part of my routine because of all the great probiotics and prebiotics for my gut.
