> 24 hourI previously had a case with a front panel that was choking the life out of my parts. After some research, I found this magnificent case. I already had an extra 200mm and 140mm set of fans to put inside, so I swapped over the 200mm Coolermaster fans to the top of the case. The front support for fans seemed a bit off, so I had to use zip ties to hold my own fans in place. It works fine and its pulling in air from two 200mm fans in the front while pushing air out the top and back with one 140mm fan and two 200mm fans. It is all Ive ever wanted. My only gripes are that with so many RGB fans and their own controllers, cable management was not as easy as Id hoped it would be in the back. It is a surprisingly tight fit back there with everything moving around and having to go to its proper place. Also the USB plugs for the front of the case just dont work well with my motherboard when it comes to the slots for cables built-in to the case. I opted to have them not plugged in at all because they were either sticking out the side, or they were bent trying to enter from the bottom. Actually bent my USB pins on my motherboard because of this. So, my advice is to try and get them plugged in on the opening from the right, and not the bottom.

> 24 hourThis case is the best out of the CoolerMaster 500 series but I found airflow works best with the 200mm fans on top and DO NOT hook 200 mm fans up to the same hub as all the other fans otherwise all fans will have max speed at 800 RPM. I have 200mm fans into a 2-1 splitter right to mobo. GPU fan is pointless if you have a large video card like RTX 30 series. If you get the case you will be better running fans in the position like I have. The 200mm intake fans are shrouded so 120 or 140 fans work best in front

> 24 hourI replaced my 8 year old Nzxt Phantom case with this fantastic piece of equipment, and what suprized me the most has got to be those 200mm fans and how effortlessly they push air through the case at such low rpms. Half of me was honestly expecting them to be very gimmicky and mediocre, boy was I suprized and at full rpm they push some serious air.

> 24 hourMy latest build I wanted to go completely air cooled and when I saw the Cooler Master H500, I knew that I needed it. Putting all my components in and routing the cabling was so much easier than my Corsair case as there is a decent amount of room inside due to the lack of 5.25 inch drive bays. Cable management was great as well and the shroud that goes over the power supply helps hide excess cabling and there are plenty of tie down points. Those big 200mm fans move quite a bit of air and are very quiet. I havent had a chance yet to test the temperature differences but Id venture a guess that its better with the increased airflow. I sit right next to the case and its hard to notice them, the CPU cooler (stock AMD for now, new cooler coming) is noisier than they are. The RGB is pretty bright as well, so if thats your thing, youre covered. Works with Aura Sync, probably would work with others as well. A word of caution: the case is fairly tall, especially in the front where the handle and front I/O is. If youre trying to stuff this monster into a small area.... she wont fit. This case is good looking enough to not want to hide it away. Set that beast on the desk and admire your handywork thru its real glass panel. For the $120 you pay, the case is worth it!

> 24 hourThe Cooler Master H500 isnt a case to jump up and down about, but its nothing to turn up your nose at either. Its spacious enough to work inside of pretty easily and holds an ATX motherboard or smaller with ease (Im not sure about eATX). Standoff locations are clearly marked by form factor. Cable management could be a bit easier and Id have been more impressed with velcro ties than zip-ties (of which there were too few), but there are sufficient tie-down points that keeping your cabling neat wont be a major chore. The two 240mm front fan and the 120mm rear exhaust fan are reasonably quiet. You can hear them, but theyre only slightly louder than background noise (my GPUs fans are far louder). Airflow with the mesh front panel is far superior to that with the glass front panel. In short, there are better cases out there, but youll pay more for them. There are also far worse cases out there at a lower price point. Its a solid mid-tier case.

> 24 hourThis is a great case. Simple but has lots of features. Something I didn’t like was the fact that Cooler Masters own RGB lights I purchased separately do not work with the fan controller board attached to the back of the MB plate. It’s a great idea: have a hub that you can connect all of your fans to instead of trying to find and run wires to each MB fan post. However, the hub doesn’t let you control the fan speeds. And their own fan packs they sell need a separate controller box to change the lighting. Wha??? That means with those fans you can only do a limited amount of customization. Very limited. Like 6, one of which is ‘off’. Still, I am keeping this case as it’s really nice and looks great and great price once you add more colored lights.

> 24 hourH500M is expensive and does not deserve to pay that. I returned it and Im much more happy with H500. 500M has some nice features like graphic card support or 3.1 input but those do not justify to pay extra $150. Besides it doesnt feel that sturdy when you try to pick it up, no handle like H500 has. Rights side has glass side as well but for what?? That creates extra burden for doing cable management. Id buy H500 even if I could afford H500M. I love the handle of H500, so easy to carry around. Top magnetic filter looks amazing. Interior is almost identical to 500M, critical difference would be H500M has 140mm and H500 has 120mm fan. I replaced that 120mm fan with RGB anyway. I bought used from Amazon warehouse and was nervous till it arrived and I installed the whole thing and upper fan did not light , I thought it was busted but then I opened the case again and checked carefully and saw that it was just an RGB cable unplugged. Other than a small dent on one side -hence the price was cheap- which I dont care, I am very much happy with it!

> 24 hourGot my case after waiting almost a week and got it all put together. First the good. The case seems to be well built and much sturdier than my old Corsair 100r. This case does help keep things cool. A 31 degree difference on my rig. Cable management is not bad. Compared to a 100R, its superbly fantastic! Plenty of room to build in. Now the bad. Less than 24 hours after getting everything put together, the rgb on the front fans quit. Well 1 blue light on the top fan works but wont change in any way. The fans do still run but 1 had a wobble in it from the get go. Contacted Cooler Master and they say that Im trying to run too many fans. Im running the 2 front fans the case came with as well as the rear exhaust fan the case came with. Too many, I think not! They say they are sorry for any problems that I may be experiencing with their product. No offer to send me two more fans, which I sent pictures showing the issue, the dont seems to care and have stopped responding to me. With that kind of customer service they should be run out of business. A shame really. I like the case, but will be sending it back and looking into another manufacturer who has a better customer service. Secondly, for reasons I can explain I have had 3 blue screens and 2 random restarts after using this case. Ive checked for something shorting out, standoff in the wrong place, anything that could be causing this. Nothing. Even reseated the ram and cpu. No improvement. Put everything back in my 100R and it works flawlessly. Runs hotter but works perfect. Dont know if something in the front ports are wacky or what. I think the thing is cursed. Bye Bye Cooler Master and Thanks for nothing!!!
