Crucial RAM 64GB Kit (2x32GB) DDR4 2666 MHz CL19 Memory for Mac CT2K32G4S266M

Works fine on a PC laptop as well. I popped this into a Dell gaming laptop that came with 12GB RAM (1x8GB + 1x4GB). The laptop went into dual channel mode once installed and the RAM performs well and as expected. If this SODIMM is cheaper than ones marketed for PCs (as it was at the time I purchased it) get this one and save some $$$.

I ordered a new 2018 iMac 3.5 Ghz Core i5 (Retina 5K, 27-inch) with a standard 8GB Ram and a 1TB SSD for a total price tag of $3,387.89 with tax (including Apple Care, USB-C VGA Multiport Adopter and MS Office Home 2016 for Mac). Had I chosen the configuration with a 32GB RAM, it would have added $600 more + tax. So I decided instead to order a compatible 32 GB Kit (16GB x 2) from Crucial which cost me only $338.30 (Tax included). Thats a savings of almost or about $300. Adding the 32GB RAM took only less than 3 minutes to complete. It was a no brainer. The best part is that my new iMac is now operating blazingly fast with a total of 40 GB RAM!

Worked as expected and fully compatible with my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017, Intel Core i5-7500 3400 MHz (4 cores)). Easy installation, and compatible with existing RAM. 8GB added onto the 2x4GB gave me an increase Geekbench score from (multi-core) 8400 to (multi-core) 13697.If I ever needed more, I would buy the same product again!
