Easy install.

Like many others it didn’t work with the first installation but just pulled them out, changed positions and it was fine. 5 minutes. Doubled my ram from 32 to 64 and now I can run the newest Photoshop without any issues. The first 32 I installed two years ago still working well, but with every PS and affiliated program upgrade it seems I need to crank it up.

This was a lot more difficult then it should have been. I plugged in the memory as per instructions on line, and to my suprise the computer would not boot. I then tried the memory without the apple memory that was already in the computer and it worked. So I tried it in different slots. The only way it would work was with the Crucial memory in slots 1 and 2 and the apple memory in slots 3 & 4. It works but not sure if this is ok or not. So far so good! All the memory show in about this Mac so Ill leave it alone.

I added one of these 8GB RAM modules to my Apple iMac 27 5k and one to my friends identical iMac. An increase in response speed is noticeable in both. This 8GB module increased RAM from 8 to 16 GB. Install was easy and quick with no problems. I have one more slot available for another module if I want to add more in the future.

I purchased the entry level iMac offered by Apple back in late 2017. Since I have so many programs running at the same time; I decided to upgrade to 64GB of RAM. While this is obviously overkill right now; I decided to go forward, as I didnt want to upgrade twice.

It worked perfectly! I`ve bought these pair of memories to my new iMac 2017.
