I was forced to buy another monitor after my 160HZ HP decided it was time to go after 5 years of hard use and this was the perfect replacement. the IPS panel is a game changer when you want to do literally anything on it other than gaming. the screen brightness is solid and the colors are very good. If you have an Nvidia graphics card do some color correction with the built in software to get the best results out of this monitor. Cheers!

Ive had this monitor for about 7 months now. Everything was doing fine until this past week. My screen has little sparkling specks in it and shuts off and back on constantly. I dont know what is happening or how to fix the issue. I cant return because its been 7 months... I enjoyed it but how do I fix it

As the headline states I am very impressed with the quality of this thing. The freesync works well with minor flicker if you go out of range but thats with any VA panel. If youre in range with smooth a smooth frame rate the freesync works great. The image quality is amazing, excellent contrast and the brightness is plenty for me measured at some 500 nits on rtings website. The backlight bleed is very minimal so thats crucial for me. It gives a wow effect for sure. Its pretty heavy and bulky so be careful handling this puppy. Its a very solid construct. The base of the stand is heavy which makes me feel like its strong and of quality. It went together like a breeze and when I first started the game I was blown away. Theres a driver to download and install. I did a calibration test through a series of images just eye balling it and it looked spot on perfect. I didnt have to change anything really out of the box. Im not sure if the driver set it up where it needs to be or what but Id suggest the driver on Dells website. Its easy to find on google. Thanks for this amazing product Dell! I sent back that AOC 27 and got this one. This thing is MUCH better but also more expensive.

I really enjoyed the ultrawide experience of this monitor. I really wanted to love it, but coming from a ips panel (lg27gl850-b) everything just felt off. It wasnt as quick to respond which I could get over; I dont play many fps games. The ghosting and the overall black smearing just crippled its experience. Blacks just felt sluggish and degraded the image quality below what I could ignore, an overall beautiful picture ruined with motion. The inky blacks were night and day way better then ips, it just cant hold up to moving the screen quickly. To someone who hasnt felt what monitors can achieve I suppose theyd have a wonderful time playing on this monitor. If you have experience playing pc for a while you will want more then what this monitor can offer. Good luck and im not criticizing anyone who enjoys the experience of this panel its an amazing buy, just not for me.

Im moving up to this display from a 24 1080P Dell I purchased in 2007 as a secondary display. My current primary is a 4K 60Hz 42 TV. The S3222HG is very nice. The curved screen is more marketing but STILL offers slight enhancement advantage as long as your head is at the focus of the curve. As a secondary display AND my PC on the left side of the 42 and the Dell being on the right side, the 6 foot cord is inadequate. I need at LEAST 10 more. Ill need to get a 10 foot to get the cord off my desk. One other small nitpick is the stand is so-so. My old 24 Dell stand is excellent. It has a more stable footprint and it is able to swivel and raise and lower. The S3222HG stand can not swivel. I plan on 3D printing an adapter piece so I can use the old stand. Otherwise I am happy with the display for the price. Paying the little extra for 165Hz, mostly for infrequent gaming, is a nice enhancement.

I use it for work and not gaming so I cannot comment on gaming. I have had the monitor for several months and no issues besides not being able to find the power button at first! Very good picture and would reccomend!
