Dove Refillable Deodorant Starter Kit 0% Aluminum Cucumber & Green Tea Aluminum Free Deodorant 1.13 oz

The deodorant stick popped off the base after the 3rd use and now its basically glorified garbage. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought this.

I love this product and the sustainability element it focuses on. But the fact is the deodorant refills are fragile. And small harsh push and they snap off the holder and they cannot be reattached. I’ve gone through three since ordering only a month or so ago

The deodorant part did not stay secured to its plastic piece that clicks into the base. Only the Deodorant piece fell off. Needs better design.

The cap never stayed on and I guess it was supposed to be a snap top kinda things but it didn’t work what so ever and the deodorant part broke right off after a couple uses even trying to be careful with it

This is a fantastic way to use less plastic for a good price. I previously used the regular version of this whose only real benefit over this was it was bigger, I realized that at the same time that was also one of its biggest downsides with how easy it is to carry this one around with me in my backpack on those long days (which often are multiple days long) I’ve been using these for some time now, gone through seven sticks (the original that came with it and three dual packs) I’ve yet to have an issue where the stick detached from the base or breaks while applying (or breaks at all for that matter) I don’t know if Dove made any changes after people had complained of this happening or if some people are just really aggressive while applying their deodorant, either way, I love this stuff and hope for more scents and larger packs to come

Why did I waste my money ? Does not stay attached broke off as I opened it the first time. You people actually thought this would be okay with anyone? Why can’t you just make a travel size with no aluminum? Hard to believe they got away with selling this, Dove must need a whole new administrative staff.

Yes the sent is amazing it’s a great idea but the product design itself is faulty. the entire deodorant that you use sticks out so it gets scraped with the cap if you’re not careful. The cap doesn’t stay on in a bag. And After 6 uses the stick broke off of the bottom part of the case. I had to use my hand to put it on. Ans buy a new deodorant. I didn’t use any crazy force.

When I received the package my immediate thought was, wow, this is heavy! No complaints there because to me that translated to durable. The first day in my travel overnight bag the magnet sealing the lid closed was not strug enough. The top came of and the stick broke ending in deodorant all over. I was really disappointed. The cucumber Dove is my favorite deodorant and I was excited and a refillable package. I might still buy a refill and use it because recycling is my thing but I will secure it closed with a hair band next time!

I purchased this product because I liked the regular style with the turn / click base, but really liked the environmentally conscious refill aspects of this one, so I purchased it to try it out. First try, I put it together which was super easy, and then attempted to apply it to my armpits. The stick broke off of the holder, right at the base. It was a clean break, so I couldnt try popping it back in. There isnt a tube for it, so I would have to hold the actual deodorant to apply it without the holder. Messy fingers, no thanks. Great idea, but poor design. I tried to salvage it by sticking it in my old click/turn deodorant. Doesnt have the same shape, so that didnt work either.

Would not recommend this product to anyone, ordered 2 and they have both broke.
