Dove Refillable Deodorant Starter Kit 0% Aluminum Cucumber & Green Tea Aluminum Free Deodorant 1.13 oz

Its heavy for its size. Its metal and plastic. Its over packaged. And when you go to use it the first time it breaks. So you cant remove the insert to put a replacement into it and have to go buy a new one to use the replacements youve already bought. No, this was a terribly designed product and its packaging is totally impractical for a refillable product. I am guessing the landfills will be full of this stuff.

My package came half open, the product itself was still sealed so I still gave it a try. I got pink jasmine scent which I liked but it could be too strong for some ppl. I liked the size, great for throwing in your purse without taking up too much space. However, T the top to the case easily pops off with the slightest touch. I mean literally a soft breeze and the top is coming off. I used this deodorant 1x. The second time I went to use it, the entire bar of deodorant fell off the base attachment. I dont know if I had a defective one or if it was the soft texture of the product that caused it. Either way I will not be repurchasing.

Este producto tiene un defecto que no permite cerrar bien la tapa. Se abre muy fácilmente y no encaja como debería. Ni pensar llevarlo a un viaje. Más que un desodorante es un artículo de decoración. La idea de cartuchos es buena pero les falto trabajar un poco en la calidad. Los materiales son muy buenos y se ven elegantes pero su funcionalidad es muy deficiente. Por lo menos por ir a regresar el producto sin oler mal. ;)

The dispenser kept opening and then the deodorant came off the base. Good idea but poorly designed.

I love the idea of reducing plastics and carbon emissions, however the deodorant itself broke off of the holder after a couple of weeks of gentle use. Since the entire thing, about 2 inches, is exposed , it is much to easy to break it off.

Love the cucumber fresh scent. Love the idea and ease to snap on cartridge. However, the third time I used it (it was a little hot in the bathroom) the deodorant broke away from the bottom of it’s cartridge base. I’m still using it by holding it on when using. I hope they improve it.

I liked the look and idea…But the deodorant broke off the base the first time I tried to use it. There’s nothing really holding it to the base to rub on your underarm!!! Just wasted that amount of money!!

The product didn’t even last two weeks without the deodorant part breaking. Ended up buying my usual. Waste of money.

I like the idea but it came broken

I was excited to find this refillable Dove container. The scent is terrific, and I like the aluminum-free formula of the antiperspirant itself. I also like the minimalization of waste. The only downside (and its a pretty significant one) is that the actual stick deodorant breaks off at the base. There isnt a sleeve for the stick to fit in and use as a guide and a sort of walled reinforcement. A bit of a design flaw, I would say. The stick just breaks off and I have to hold the antiperspirant with my hand to apply it. I will use up the two refills I bought with my initial order, and will likely go back to the traditional roll up stick style when this runs out.
