Greater than one weekI was so excited for the concept of this deodorant because it was aluminum free and cuts out a majority of the plastic. The packaging could have definitely been sustainable, it did not need to be packaged like it was a new iPhone. But most importantly, the lid won’t stay on as it doesn’t click onto the bottom, and the actual deodorant stick is super super fragile! As you take the lid off you are bound to gouge into the sides of it. However, after first use, just typical application, the whole stick broke off and fell in the floor!! Now, I will be throwing away almost a brand new, durably made, product, which is the exact opposite of the purpose of this deodorant! Buy paper tube deodorant if you are doing it for that aspect, if you like the aluminum free, I would just buy it in the plastic tube, it’s cheaper and won’t crumble into your hands.

> 3 dayWhen I first got this deodorant I loved it. It smelled so good and I felt happy to help the environent by reducing waste. As I used it, the deodorant got thinner. After a few weeks, the deodorant broke off its base. Now if I use it, I have to hold the deodorant by my fingers. It becomes a sloppy mess. Really had great hope for this deodorant.

> 3 dayThe product itself is fine. Its deodorant, not antiperspirant, but as long as you know that, no surprises. But the packaging is junk. Its attractive but doesnt fit together well. Because of this, the cap will not stay on, so I could never travel with it. Id love to use less plastics but this isnt the way.

Greater than one weekThe little ball of deodorant doesn’t stay on the case. Every time I try to swipe some on it melts off. The little replacement base doesn’t come out, that’s very secure. The actual deodorant melts off/crumbles off the case. I really wanted to like this product!!! Edit: I had to lower my rating because I had decided to try to continue to use it because I didn’t want it to go to waste but after trying it for a week I have a terrible rash on my underarms. I am so uncomfortable and stopped using it immediately. Please do not buy this product. I don’t even have sensitive skin.

> 3 dayOn the Yuka app this products ingredients are rated as hazardous. Mind you I expect this with most deodorants, but I was hopeful with the promise of zero aluminum. The deodorant stick does not stay on the insert. It falls off so between it being harmful and ineffective I rate this -10

Greater than one weekThe deodorant stick popped off the base after the 3rd use and now its basically glorified garbage. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought this.

> 3 dayIts definitely aluminum free. I forgot that when you switch to aluminum free that theres 4-6 weeks of funk under the arms until the pores that were blocked by the aluminum are clean and clear. It was a smell I was unprepared for. I realize this is a deodorant, not an antiperspirant, and with that in mind, it did exactly as it should have. If you dont want to sweat so much, its not for you. Aluminum Free is great. It shows how much everyone sweats when their pores arent clogged by years of aluminum use. The stick feels great against the skin, and is silky soft. However, I did have to buy an aluminum antiperspirant. When I can hide away from other people for 2 months, Ill switch to aluminum free. Showering twice, and washing my underarms 6+ times a day just to make myself feel kind of clean doesnt work for me right now. The stick didnt break for me, and the base seemed fine. The container was wonderful. It was beautifully crafted, and very sleek. The only problem I had was that the lid didnt snap shut after the first time. It popped back up just enough that it fell off in my purse. I still wouldve bought a refill, when I switched back to Dove aluminum antiperspirants, if there had been an aluminum option. It seems like a waste that the product with the least amount of plastic comes in aluminum free only.
