> 24 hourThe 3.5mm socket on the Dell tower got damaged. It was nice to plug the headphones into an available USB port using this adapter.

> 24 hourUsing this for my headphones after mobo HD audio stopped working. Output is crisp and clear. Havent yet tried to record audio but audio in levels appear to be on the low side. However I think thats my headphones mic location. Levels look good when speaking directly into the mic but the phones are off my ears then.

> 24 hourPlugged this adapter into a USB 2 on my Lenovo ThinkStation desktop. Plugged my old Dell A525 computer speaker system from 2006. Started my Amazon Prime music and had music. No hassle, no driver no problem.

> 24 hourThis solved a long standing issue I have experienced with Dell USB-C Docking Stations. For some reason, every Dell USB docking station I have had connected to my laptop developed a high pitched static sound via the 3.5mm jack that could not be fixed with driver updates, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers or windows updates. It was maddening!! I replaced my Dell docking station 3 times and each would develop the same problem...regardless of the model type. I believe the issue has to do with the Realtek audio chipset being used in the docking station. Decided to go another route and just leverage one of the available USB ports with this USB to 3.5mm Jack converter and viola! the problem was fixed and audio quality of music and meetings is fantastic. Thanks for making a quality product to fix Realteks terrible audio chipset/driver problem!
