> 3 dayHad this to control some household lighting and it worked great. (Purchased June 2018). Today, I turned off breaker to do maintenance on circuit, turned back on - blue LED indicator now blinks once / second. Ive attempted to reset without success. Disappointed that it didnt last very long.

> 3 dayWorks as advertised, aesthetics are good, easy to add to the mesh. The only problem with this is that it doesnt have back-wiring, its the push-in wiring type that doesnt securely hold the wires. Residential grade.

> 3 dayThis experience was with an Amazon Refurbished Enbrighten outlet that was rated as Very Good by Amazon. Physical product looked pristine, physical installation was easy, BUT installation onto Z-wave SmartThings was a nightmare even with JASCO Product Support. The Tech declared that it had a bad computer chip and advised that I return it. Since I had repaired my Z-wave network, I saw thar there was a new GE Switch. It turned out that this Outlet registered as GE Switch and functions as a switch.

> 3 dayI installed this for use with Home Assistant and it has been working great. It installed without any issue. As indicated in the product description, the top socket in the outlet is just an ordinary always-on socket, and the other is controllable via Z-Wave. In my particular application, it was crucial that device be absolutely 100% reliable and responsive. This has met my expectations.

> 3 dayWhen these work they work perfect. However, I have purchased 4 of them and 2 have failed. Both in the middle of the night! They begin to click and the first time I had no idea at 4:00am what was going on. Then a month or so after, same thing. The second one began clicking in the wee hours of the morning. This happened after about 2 years. This is 100% unacceptable and I would not consider buying them again as Im waiting for my others to fail as well. I have not tried to contact the company as Im sure they are Out of Warranty.

> 3 dayThe manufacture has recognized an issue with their product and has extended the warranty to 5 years. Bravo-Zulu

> 3 dayPackaging was fine, installation was easy enough and it pairs up with an add on Z-Wave hub and Home Assistant easily enough. However, they dont really advertise that only the bottom plug is smart and the top one always on. Looking back after I bought it it wasnt really described in the regular description which feels pretty misleading thus the 3-star rating. If I had known it was only going to be half smart I would have probably just gotten a cheaper single outlet addon plug instead.

> 3 dayI would expect this device to last more than 24 months. The hassle of replacing it out weighs the cost. Not happy, expect more from a company as large as GE.

> 3 dayHave about 10 of these now. Works well with Smarthings. Just have one very far from the hub that does like like the Zwave Mesh network when trying to update the mesh it says something like cannot update but it still works so who cares. Recommend as a Zwave device for any smart system.

> 3 dayUnlike some cheaper Z-wave devices, this one stays solidly on the network. It has enough switching capacity to control my espresso machine, and the integrated button makes it easy to control locally when necessary. I like that the button doubles as an indicator to show when the outlet is energized. Do note that only one outlet is controlled - the other outlet is on all the time just like a regular outlet. One thing that would have been awesome is the ability to select whether both outlets are controlled or if only one outlet is controlled. There are times where I would have loved to plug two devices in to be controlled without having to clutter things with a power strip.
