> 24 hourPurchased this second projector for our bedroom, projecting on a DIY painted screen. Picture quality is fantastic. Fan is audible but not annoying. This new unit noticeably outperforms our original Epson 3900 projector which is running in the basement.

> 24 hourI bought the epson 3800 renewed from Amazon and I could not focus the projector whatsoever. Focus uniformity across the four quadrants was horrible. I doubt I’ll pursue another electronics purchase from Amazon. A huge waste of time.

> 24 hourWeve had this projector for about 4 months. I can definitely say that I am so happy I decided on the Epson 3200. I mounted it on the ceiling about 11 ft from the wall. The picture is about 12 ft diagonal, and it looks amazing. The colors are beautiful, the image is bright even with lights/windows. We use this projector many hours per week for 4k gaming at 60fps. Wow, I cant imagine a better gaming experience. Watching movies is awesome too. Its like having a movie theater in our house. I have the audio connected to a bluetooth speaker, which works fine. My only small complaint is that the focus isnt perfect. For games that have small text on the top and bottom of the screen, I cant seem to get both in exact focus. I have to focus either the top or bottom, and the other one will be just a little blurry. Its such a small nitpick though, its really fine and its barely noticeable from viewing distance. While shopping, I remember debating buying this versus the Optima. I guess Ill never know what that one would have been like, but I have no regrets. I cant imagine it would have nailed everything as perfectly as this one did. I would buy another Epson next time definitely. If youre thinking about buying one, do it.

> 24 hourA nice quality projector for the price. Having 2 HDMI, Video-out, a nice contrast ratio, perfect lumen to view just about anywhere makes viewing sports & movies on a large screen awesome!! Also, the projector is easy to use.

> 24 hourWe placed the unit about 18’ away from the screen wall, and the diagonal is about 160”. Even stretched to this size it is as clear or better than my 70” flatscreen! Never expected it to look this good.

> 24 hourI recently replaced by 11 year old Mitsubishi projector with the Epson 3200 for my media room. However, after a short time I decided to return the 3200 due to internal dust on the lens and dissatisfaction with the black (or in this case gray) levels. I then upgraded to the 3800 and I am extremely happy. The contrast improvement between the 3200 and 3800 was immediately noticeable. The colors, contrast and sharpness are fantastic. While this is not a true 4k projector, it is miles ahead of my old Mitsubishi projector and an improvement over the Epson 3200.

> 24 hourWe are very happy with our purchase. We painted our white wall to a light grey to use as our projector screen and it works very well. A massive upgrade from our previous short throw projector. If you’re looking for a home projector to stream movies or play games, this is a good buy.

> 24 hourWe installed it in the basement under a drop ceiling. Projected on a wall that I painted with projector paint. It is BRIGHT!!! .. I had to reduce the brightness when the room is darkened. But it works well even with some light. I combined it with Sony Sound amp and it is like a movie theater in the basement now. The image here is with all lights in the basement turned on. Awesome.

> 24 hourThe projector says “No Signal” from HDMI even though there is an incoming signal and the cable has been tested and works as expected. I’ve tested the other components in the AVR system and the projector is component that’s failing. I hope Epson or Amazon will send a replacement.
