I’ve had the projector for almost a year now and all I can said is that’s it’s everything that i paid for… the Picture is great!! And along with all the great features it has duel inputs which is a lifesaver… Knock on wood the only thing Ive has to do was clean the air filter… it’s definitely upgrade from the old generic 1080p!! Highly recommended for any set-up!! What made it so much easier was being able to pay monthly for it!

Steve went out of his way to help us out. We absolutely love the Epson 3800 Projector. Works great with my Bluetooth sound system. Just have it against my textured wall and the picture is good. I can’t wait for my screen to show up. Thanks for your help Steve at Hatchfield Co. Will buy from their company again in the future!

I am in a completely dark space, using on eco mode, and it is plenty bright. I am currently using an older receiver, so I cant comment on 4k, but everything, from streaming to BluRay to Red Dead Redemption 2, has looked great thus far. I cant imagine spending $5k+ for true 4k. Movies and games in HD are so amazing @ 135 that needing higher resolution for the non-OCD among us seems a little silly. Very little visible screen door, plenty bright, and the only time I really notice a resolution difference (vs led panel) is with live sports. But this seems pretty great, bang for the buck. At the rate Im going, my bulb will be dead in a year, but thats a good thing. It will be hard to play Xbox on anything else now...

This projector is absolutely stunning. Picture quality is glorious. Being able to see things in 4K (even this version of 4K) is amazing. As a filmmaker, I absolutely appreciate getting such stunning quality for my viewing experience. Setup is easy. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just plug things in appropriately, use the feet to get a level picture, etc. Remote is quite functional--there are a million options I will never use, but the basics are great! Controlling this from a distance is no problem. Audio must come from external speakers, but I prefer that. Who wants built-in speakers anyway? If youre buying this projector, youre obviously going to have a nice sound system to go with it. So they focus more on the features you will use rather than including something you wont. Plus, bluetooth audio is just the coolest thing ever. So happy weve gotten there. All-in-all, I absolutely love this!

I found this projector to be too bright for a 84 diagonal screen. Beyond putting the lamp in ECO mode, there is no variable lamp brightness control. I spoke with epson customer service and they confirmed this. The projector is great during the day, but it is blinding at night, even on its dimmest setting. It seems like other epson projectors have a 30-100% lamp brightness control, but not this one. Its too bad because it is hard to find a 4k projector with a long-throw lens like this one has. Otherwise, the projector seemed great. If you have ambient light or a much larger screen, this would be a good choice.

Just buy it, but plan on having Netflix premium. You wont want to watch anything that is not Ultra HD 4K. I painted the wall with Behr silver screen from home depot. I have 134 inch picture in a 12 foot room. The picture quality is beyond amazing. I just hope this thing lasts for a while.

I almost didn’t pick up this projector due to repeated concerns about focus uniformity. I’ve had no issue whatsoever with this. I think it may be because I didn’t require a ton of vertical or horizontal lens shift though I did use it. This picture is bright enough to be serviceable in a room with three windows during the day and when the lights go out it’s truly special. The contrast is truly phenomenal. Does it have OLED blacks? No. But I’ve got a 100” image and it’s a more beautiful picture than any modern tv I have in my home. I’d be shocked if you could find anything better for a similar use case for $1500 refurbished (what I paid.) If you don’t want to pay $3000 this is a great projector for you.

Wow, this with a 100 inch screen and ceiling mount is fab. Really great for movie night at home. Buy it, you will love it. Really awesome picture. I use a home theater Dolby receiver with nice speakers and a large sub so don’t use the project sound at all.

This is my first projector, and so far Ive been pretty pleased with it. Set up for me has been tedious, but only because my home layout isnt conducive for projector use. Right now I have to have a temporary set up for use and then put everything away when done. Set up was fairly simple. Some minor adjustments were needed to fit the space I was using. The projector made short work of it and looked fantastic even on a makeshift screen. I am currently pairing this with an Xbox One X with its stellar 4k playback and excellent gaming library. Movies are amazing, from older films that have been rereleases on 4k to the latest releases like Avengers. Gaming was so so. Im used to gaming on a small monitor and found myself drawn away from what I should be doing in game because I was too busy looking at everything else. I will probably refrain from gaming further as I would like to try and extend bulb life as long as I can. Replacement bulbs are fairly inexpensive and seem to have a pretty decent life to them. Image quality seems to be pretty great too in low ambient light situations as well, however I have been going as far as I can to make it as dark as I can but thats just me. Overall I am pleased with the projector but wish I could give it a dedicated home.
