> 24 hourThere have been multiple events that multiple cameras haven’t recorded. But yet I get multiple human detected a week with nothing in frame other then a shadow from a tree. I wish I got a wired system with a hard drive verses this junk system. Makes me wonder what’s been missed while I’ve not been home. Buyer beware.

> 24 hourI like how small they are, you barely notice them.

> 24 hourPurchased this Eufy 2C Pro camera to add onto my existing Eufy 2C camera system. It works together seamlessly and the picture quality is a bit better in terms of resolution than the regular 2C. Just like the 2C, this 2C Pro is just as easy to setup and install.

> 24 hourSo far I am pleased with these cams. No problems other than the cheap install screws (twisted the heads off on 3 of them so far) Be careful not to over tighten the screws and make sure you have good wifi where you are installing them. Update: I have had several cameras installed now and can say the video is Very Nice BUT I have noticed one thing the range at which it picks things up is not good. The person or animal has to be extremely close (approx 10) for it to start recording

> 24 hourI have been trying to use this camera at my front door for about a month. The Good: The camera works well and provides good images -- that is, when it triggers at all. The Bad: The camera will miss almost all human activity, so probably it will not be very helpful in combatting porch pirates or alerting you to people approaching your home. I mounted this camera according to the instructions slightly above and to the side of my front door, where it covers my whole front walk and most of my front yard. (I also attached a permanent power cord, so the camera is always charging and usually shows fully charged.) The base station is nearby; the camera always has good connectivity. Since initial installation, I have also tried three other nearby positions in hopes of improving performance. Using the Eufy security app, I set the cameras alert zone set to cover my whole front walk and most of the front yard. I have tried the setting that supposedly detects humans and also the setting that detects all motion. I have also tried all sensitivity settings from most to least sensitive (and in both modes). My results: With the camera set to alert only when a human is detected: The camera almost NEVER detects motion. Mail persons, deliveries, and visitors to my house come and go -- quickly or slowly; even stopping -- even waving and jumping around -- right in front of the camera / in the center of the supposed detection zone. The camera almost never triggers at a person, so no video is ever recorded. With the alert zone set covering exactly the same area, but the app set to trigger at all motion (not just when people are detected): The camera detects all sorts of wind motion -- leaves, shadows ... pretty much any movement. Alerts are nearly incessant unless there is no air moving at all outside. EXCEPT: The camera still usually does not detect a person walking toward or away from it (moving diagonally from corner to corner through the detection zone). I have tried setting it to the extremes of sensitivity (both high and low). The camera can be adjusted to not alert at every leaf movement (cutting down on incessant needless alerts). I found no setting in which the camera will detect PEOPLE moving through the frame towards or away from the camera. Night vision seems reasonable and videos are clear in infra-red / black and white. But in night mode the device detects all motion -- it cannot be set only to detect people (though maybe it doesnt much matter, since that setting doesnt seem to work anyway). There is no way to set this camera to always record, nor is there a way to trigger it by another device. (For example: I also have the Eufy doorbell with camera. That device does work and usually does detect people. It would be great if I could set this camera to capture video when the doorbell detects a person. But alas, I have not found a way to that either.) Since Anker (and by extension, Eufy) products are usually very solid and reliable, I am left to conclude that either (a) this device is EXTREMELY sensitive to mounting height and precise angle -- so sensitive that the average user might never find the perfect (workable) spot that might get you an image that shows the face / front of potential intruders -- or (b) the hardware is good but their app and software logic is seriously flawed. Either way, one might better consider a different solution if youre looking for a camera to combat (human) porch pirates or alert you to someone checking out your house.

> 24 hourMay take time to learn spotlight capability. If this happens, adjust by reducing light intensity on camera app.

> 24 hourAfter having these add on cameras for a couple months I’ve noticed each of them having issues with motion sensing. They both seem to be lacking worse then the entire system (home base and two cameras) I bought months before the add ons. The system bundle actually works great no major problems except a few hiccups here and there. Motion sensing seems to go to sleep when temps drop below 20 degrees. But that’s not my point with these ad on cams. I’m not happy with either of them. Mowed my backyard for 15 min and walked within two feet of the camera and zero motion recordings and they are set to record all motion at level 7. Quality control is lacking on the ad on cams.

> 24 hourThe small size and flexibility of being able to add a solar panel gives it a lot of functionality. I love them so much, I have a total of four of these.

> 24 hourExcellent Security camera, especially when paired up with the Eufy Solar panel (Pictured sunny Florida sky. Using it to keep a watchful eye in the backyard and its been doing an excellent job. Excellent video quality, good set of AI detection features, good size and build. All around worth while product! Thinking about purchasing a second one to use in the garage with its useful spotlight. Notes: Does require a Homebase 2which is where the footage is saved, the memory is sadly not expandable and if the power goes out it wont save the footage (even thought the camera is battery powered unless you have a UPS or other power backup for the hub/base (e.g. the Backup battery for Homebase2 battery backup. Also, Footage is slow to pull up on Google Home devices (Nest Hub, Chromecast etc.)
