We used this on a camping trip we went on this past weekend and it worked exactly as it should! We started a fire on our first try! After watching survival reality shows for years I always wanted to try and start a fire with one of these so it was fun finally feeling like a true outdoorsman!

the sparkle is easy to generate and the fire is generate with dry leaves easily. Also there is a small gift for the phone holder. Very nice.

The fire starter is a great addition to our hiking and camping bag we have put together. They dont take up too much room and easily clip onto a key ring to keep them together and handy. The whistle works great and the fire starter sparks quick and is easy to use.

I find this fire starter to be convenient , small in size to keep in a bag or on a Keychain for your keys, house keys, car keys, etc, and efficient enough to start a fire quickly; I would buy another one for camping trips or an emergency bag to have with me; overall decent price and theres no cons of this fire starter

The ferro rod and striker produced good consistent sparks after I worked off the layer of paint. The sparks should be able to start a campfire even in significantly wet conditions. It does take some effort to create the sparks which is typical for a ferro rod. On the striker is a concave surface which has teeth and can saw some tinder to use. The whistle is loud and high frequency which would be helpful in locating someone in important circumstances. These tools are an easy carry due because they are light weight and have a sturdy build.

Very strong material, easy to use the grip fits comfortably within the grasp of your fingers giving you total control while striking the plate. Quickly starts sparking up, no hassles once the fire has begun. The whistle is very light weight and flat, giving you the ability to tuck any where discreetly hidden. These products are a great addition to a bug-out bag or to clip onto a necklace or pack for camping. The whistle is nice & slim to carry in a pocket, and isnt too high-pitched. The firestarter is user-friendly and the bottle opener & ruler are great bonuses! You definitely get your moneys worth!

I havent personally used this product yet as it is a gift for a prepper friend of mine. But I think that a firestarter is probably one of the best essentials you can add to a bugout bag or any prepping equipment you are putting together. The package itself came quickly and was wrapped up good enough that there was no damage to the product or the box itself. I definitely recommend this product based on the affordable cost, quick shipping and the usefulness of this product in a bugout bag

This will be great for the many camping trips I take. It works great and is a convenient size for a keychain or to fit in your pocket. It came in a box so it can be wrapped and would make a great gift.
