> 24 hourSo I started my vinyl hobby by stealing my moms Crosley 5-in-1 record player and taking it to college with me. That was a year and a half ago. After getting acquainted with the Crosley, I started buying some of my favorite albums on vinyl. The first record I bought was Business As Usual by Men At Work. I played that record hundreds of times, much to the annoyance of my two roommates. Eventually I became dissatisfied with the built-in speakers and the tinny quality the Crosley would produce. Sometimes it was playing brand-new records and it would skip which is apparently a common issue among the brand. I would send records back to where they came from or frame them instead of listening to them.

> 24 hourSound quality is great, speed is spot-on. Price is not entry level, but it is worth it.

> 24 hourafter running into a couple problems I called and Rebecca answered. She is real and helped me both times. Wonderful turntable. My second decent one in a row. I will keep the Rega in reserve if any issues with the NEW baby happen. Thanks Rebecca. Thanks Fluance

> 24 hourMy 45 year old B&O finally bit the dust. I started new with a ProJect T1 and returned it after two weeks when the motor bearing started humming audibly. I spent another $160 and upgraded to the RT85. I was 1st amazed at the superior craftsmanship compared to the T1. Even the packaging was an upgrade. The sound was also improved. And I love that the RT85 will turn off at the end of play. Spend the extra $$ and get this quality turntable.

> 24 hourWow! Arrived today, 20 minute unboxing and setup, very easy. I bought a Denon DP400 a few weeks ago and just had problems, really unhappy with the motor noise and lack of vibration dampening. Decided it was going back and after hours of research decided on the RT85.

> 24 hourExcellent turntable! I bought this to replace my AT-LP120 because I was tired of the motor noise and I’m thrilled with this purchase. I tried this out first with Regatta de Blanc by the Police and felt an improvement all around. I also appreciate that there’s zero motor noise.

> 24 hourSounds great, even with some of my old vinyl. Makes the music better. Great value for the money, looked at many different brands in this price range. No regrets here.
