Its a good material but its just leaked in the first time my little girl peed in it and actually I dont know why she got some rash after she wear it , my girl is 20m maybe we are not ready yet to start potty training.

I have a very petite 2 1/2 year old who is potty training. (Seriously, she can still wear 12month pants) Its very hard to find training panties for her since they dont normally make them this small. The 18 month size actually stay up on her. The thick cotton helps catch any minor leaks. Its enough for my daughter to realize she was starting to have an accident and go to the potty. My only complaint is that they come up very high like a diaper so they look less like little girl panties. They stick out the top of my daughters pants quite a bit. Because of this, my daughter decided she would refuse to wear them any more. So its back to the normal panties that we had to take in to fit her. Im still giving the review 4 stars because I like them on her, and wish she would keep wearing them. Nice while it lasted.

The color choices were good. The panties are soft and absorbent. Best of all, she likes them.

I bought Gerber training underwear 10 years ago for my boys—still have them—and they worked (still work) great. I bought this 4-pack for my little girl. I am not disappointed! She’s an average size 22 month old and the 2T size fit her well. They are thick and absorbent, so a full accident does not make such a mess. I am also noticing that partial accidents are not getting her pants wet, and I only have to change her underwear. I am so glad that I bought these instead of the cute potty training underwear available on Amazon. This is my fourth child I have potty trained using Gerber underwear, and I recommend this brand.

I bought the 2T size for my then 18 month old. The underwear is exactly what needed to fully potty train my now 2 year old. It used to be a tiny bit on the larger side, but I bought it knowing that Id rather she grew into it than buy an exact fit now and buy new ones within a few months. The material is soft, and 6 months of washing has not worn it down and not only has it stayed soft, but the padding is intact. The padding will handle about an ounce or so of liquid without making a messy puddle. That way I only have to wash the undies and her clothes and not worry about the floor. Clearly these are not meant to contain big accidents. The potty training started with my daughter peeing a bit in the underwear everytime, before she could let me know. Now 4 months later she hardly has those accidents. She now wears these as a regular everyday underwear. I love the color combination and the padding is not so thick that it shows through leggings. These are not waterproof and do not have any plastic lining or such. overall i am very happy with my purchase.

I wasnt actually looking for training pants but these are the smallest undies I could find for my 20lb 2 year old who is potty training. Pull ups did not work for either of my daughters, felt like a diaper to them. These training pants are great. Just enough padding to absorb enough of the pee so you dont have a huge mess to clean up. Dont expect them to absorb a bladder full though. 18mo size fit my daughter well with a little wiggle room.

These do actually hold pee more than I expected. My daughter has hard time potty training (shes 3 in one month), so we thought these would be a good in between trainer. Pull-ups are just like diapers so they dont help her any. these however she doesnt like to pee in. only reason I knocked off a star is bc they dont always hold the pee so well and I have carpet throughout most of my house so a little unnerving. Im sure there are covers I can get for them or liners or something. anyway they fit well -shes in a 3T, sometimes 4T (weighs about 35lbs) and we got size 3T. Theres even some room to grow. They arent snug anywhere, but fit just right. overall good purchase.

I am currently potty training our oldest child using these underpants. They are thick enough to absorb small trickles or to prevent (or lessen) the impact of a major oops! I have found that, for our child, using pull ups underpants was not a solution as she seemed to recognize that she was still basically wearing a diaper and simply continued to wet on herself rather than going to the potty. Also, the pull ups (much like a diaper) are so efficient at absorbing and locking in liquid that they prevented her from feeling wet (a plus when training in my opinion because a little discomfort seems to help motivate her). With these, she can feel that she has wet herself and is uncomfortable, but they absorb a great deal of the mess and have saved my carpet many times already. Her pants do get wet, and we do have to change clothes if we have an accident. But, when she wears regular underpants and has an accident, the urine produces a much greater mess on her and on the floor or furniture. They are not as bulky as a diaper, fit well under clothing, and are easy for the child to remove and replace for potty trips. I would recommend giving these a try, at least as a transition between diaper and regular underpants. We have now moved to using a pull up at night or when traveling and that seems to work well. But, I believe these greatly helped us in making that jump from diapers to potty.

Best underwear for potty training/newly potty trained littles! So much easier to pull these up and down than the thin cotton ones. The thicker absorbent core is helpful to soak some of the mess of accidents, and when accidents are no longer an issue, it still gives me a bit more peace of mind knowing she has slight protection if needed. We call them her soft & cozy undies. Also, I found sizing was just right. I was torn between 2T and 3T, I got the 3T and its slightly loose/baggy but not enough to fall down, they are comfortable for her, glad I went with the bigger size. One complaint is I wish they would make them tagless!
