I bought the 2T size for my then 18 month old. The underwear is exactly what needed to fully potty train my now 2 year old. It used to be a tiny bit on the larger side, but I bought it knowing that Id rather she grew into it than buy an exact fit now and buy new ones within a few months. The material is soft, and 6 months of washing has not worn it down and not only has it stayed soft, but the padding is intact. The padding will handle about an ounce or so of liquid without making a messy puddle. That way I only have to wash the undies and her clothes and not worry about the floor. Clearly these are not meant to contain big accidents. The potty training started with my daughter peeing a bit in the underwear everytime, before she could let me know. Now 4 months later she hardly has those accidents. She now wears these as a regular everyday underwear. I love the color combination and the padding is not so thick that it shows through leggings. These are not waterproof and do not have any plastic lining or such. overall i am very happy with my purchase.

I think these are a good value especially by Amazon prices. I paid under $13 for 4 on Amazon, though I see at the moment they are over $15 for 4. You can get 3 for $8 any day of the week from Target. I only ordered these here because I wanted the size 18 months and Target only has 2T and 3T. It has not been my experience that these run large, as Ive seen in some other reviews. My daughter is 19 months and about 25 lbs. She has chunky legs. She wears size 18 month clothing. And the size 18 month training pants fit her. If anything, they are a little tight around the leg. She can also fit the 2T. There was really hardly any difference between the 18 month size and the 2T, especially after my 2T (white) shrunk in the dryer. I cant comment how well they hold up because we havent had them for very long. They are not super thick, not like the Blueberry ones I got, but thats fine by me. Lets her feel the wetness, which is what I wanted. I also cover these with a vinyl diaper cover, so Im not relying on these alone to keep clothes or furniture from getting wet.

These are really really long, so they slouch a lot and also show above all of my daughters waistbands. Its a shame, because theyre soft and she likes the patterns.

    Greater than one week

Perfect for 18m they are not too tight on the legs (problem I found with other brands) so they quite comfortable and easier for her to pull up for her than other brands. Great for outings and day care so even if she has a pre-pee she can make it to toilet without showing she had a small accident and only needs a change of underwear rather than all clothing. One but is a quality as some threads started to let go after few washings but only in one place so it was easy to fix. Still would rather use those die to comfort and ease of use rather than top quality overpriced and uncomfortable ones.

These are cute. They dont completely contain accidents but they minimize them because of the extra padding. Im glad they dont contain completely because when my daughter has pee running down her leg it makes her want to run to the toilet because shes uncomfortable. Thats pretty much what you want to make them go on their own. Only issue is the leg holes are too snug on her thighs but fine in the waist, butt, and crotch area.

These pants are quite genius for starting out potting training. They look like underwear, so my girl was open to wearing it. Gerber also makes training pants with a plastic liner in the crotch to hold a little extra pee, but my daughter didnt like the crinkle sound it makes. These are thick cotton with padding to absorb some pee when theres an accident. Put some cotton pants over these and theres some extra absorbancy. There will def be wetness down the legs. If you are looking for zero mess, then get pullup diapers, dont look here. My daughter will just pee in pullups without a care; with these she understood the concept that she needs to pee or else she gets drenched. Great motivator. My kid is 3.5 yrs old, 30 lbs and tall (slender). 3T did fit kinda big like everyone says, but after a few washes they fit a little better while staying soft. Tip: To prevent messes on dining chairs, couches and carpet, have child sit on those waterproof liners for changing pads/cribs and wash when messy. Or use disposable pet peepee pads. Less of a headache. pros: generous booty area=less wedgies! soft leg openings, like a tshirt good thick quality cotton vibrant colors great value for 4 pants

The color choices were good. The panties are soft and absorbent. Best of all, she likes them.

I wish it was the kind that had the plastic on the outside like back in the day but the cool.

I have a very petite 2 1/2 year old who is potty training. (Seriously, she can still wear 12month pants) Its very hard to find training panties for her since they dont normally make them this small. The 18 month size actually stay up on her. The thick cotton helps catch any minor leaks. Its enough for my daughter to realize she was starting to have an accident and go to the potty. My only complaint is that they come up very high like a diaper so they look less like little girl panties. They stick out the top of my daughters pants quite a bit. Because of this, my daughter decided she would refuse to wear them any more. So its back to the normal panties that we had to take in to fit her. Im still giving the review 4 stars because I like them on her, and wish she would keep wearing them. Nice while it lasted.

I got this underwear because the smallest size I could find in any store was 2T (28+ lbs) and my daughter is barely 25 lbs. the 2Ts in the store had a plastic layer inside to help prevent leaks, so I believed I was getting the same in a smaller size. There is no plastic layer. (I guess I should have read more reviews before buying because someone else mentioned it), That said, the area that might be peed in is extra thick (double cotton plus some sort of cotton insert). If you buy the waterproof cover that you can find in many local stores (I believe its meant to be used over reusable diapers), it works perfectly with these underpants. No leaks! I cant say the same for regular 2T underwear (small versions of adult underwear) which leak through the leg holes in the plastic covers. They fit my almost 25 lb. (32in tall) daughter perfectly. They are high rise and reach up to the navel. 2T is way too big on her for this type of underwear, while 2T regular underwear and diapers fit her fine. Buy within the weight range for these : http://www.diaperjungle.com/images/D/sizeChart-newbornToddler.jpg
