    Greater than one week

I wasnt actually looking for training pants but these are the smallest undies I could find for my 20lb 2 year old who is potty training. Pull ups did not work for either of my daughters, felt like a diaper to them. These training pants are great. Just enough padding to absorb enough of the pee so you dont have a huge mess to clean up. Dont expect them to absorb a bladder full though. 18mo size fit my daughter well with a little wiggle room.

I have a very petite 2 1/2 year old who is potty training. (Seriously, she can still wear 12month pants) Its very hard to find training panties for her since they dont normally make them this small. The 18 month size actually stay up on her. The thick cotton helps catch any minor leaks. Its enough for my daughter to realize she was starting to have an accident and go to the potty. My only complaint is that they come up very high like a diaper so they look less like little girl panties. They stick out the top of my daughters pants quite a bit. Because of this, my daughter decided she would refuse to wear them any more. So its back to the normal panties that we had to take in to fit her. Im still giving the review 4 stars because I like them on her, and wish she would keep wearing them. Nice while it lasted.

Its a good material but its just leaked in the first time my little girl peed in it and actually I dont know why she got some rash after she wear it , my girl is 20m maybe we are not ready yet to start potty training.

Gerber products always seem to fit small compared to other companies of the same size, but it works well for me as I have a small little girl. She is 19 lbs at 14 months. We are starting to potty train a little early (because shes ready) and was having difficulty finding some undies that would fit. The 18 mo size says 24-28lbs and, like I said, my daughter is 19lbs and they fit almost perfect. They will probably fit fine for several more pounds, but I doubt a 28lber would be comfortable in them. As far as how they work. I was holding my daughter on my hip...she only had the training pants on. I felt my hip get a little warm, I quick lifted her up and her undies were wet, but my shirt was completely dry! So they did the trick! She realized she was going and my clothes stayed dry!

Perfect for 18m they are not too tight on the legs (problem I found with other brands) so they quite comfortable and easier for her to pull up for her than other brands. Great for outings and day care so even if she has a pre-pee she can make it to toilet without showing she had a small accident and only needs a change of underwear rather than all clothing. One but is a quality as some threads started to let go after few washings but only in one place so it was easy to fix. Still would rather use those die to comfort and ease of use rather than top quality overpriced and uncomfortable ones.

I started potty training my daughter at about 8 months old. Nothing too crazy, just a toilet trip here and here to get her used to the idea. I started the real routine recently (shes now nearly 24 months), and I tried to use these training pants as an incentive for her..we call them her big girl panties, a step up from pull ups. Theyre cute, decently absorbent (of course they cant let it all out or youll have an issue). My only complaint is that my daughter is on the chubbier side (close to 30lbs, with a lot of her chubs contained to her thighs). The openings are a bit snug, but I suppose thats better than them being too loose. I ordered a 2T and they seem to do the trick...and their cute!

We keep buying these underwear because its so hard to find training pants to fit my small 2-year old and so few companies make training pants in size 18 months (and none smaller from what Ive found). Theyre still a bit big on the little kid, though. Theyre just starting to not be baggy. Theyve held up well after a lot of washes and well keep using them until she grows out of them (which is unlikely since theyre still big).

Really really like these training pants. They are so soft. My daughter loves wearing them. I really didnt want anything that had plastic lining in them. As other reviews stated, it wont prevent a leak but it will help prevent a huge mess. I got the 18 month size. My daughter is 23 lbs and is 20 months old. She tends to run on the petite side but usually fits 18mo size clothes. So I feel like they run a little big. Im glad they run large instead of small though. At least she has some growing room. I would buy them again.

Other than being a little big on my toddler (shes a few months shy of 3 years old, 27lbs and wears 3T pants) and a bit pricey for only 4, these work great for training. She does so well with knowing she needs to go potty but sometimes she doesnt make it on to the toilet in time so shell be a little wet. These help to keep her pants dry in these cases so I only have to change her underwear. They definitely wouldnt hold a full bladders worth of urine but for little leaks, it does the job!
