Giro Fixture MIPS Adult Mountain Cycling Helmet

Well ya know I have a big, brain filled head and this bike helmet fits perfectly! Keeps my noggin well protected. Straps are comfortable. If you need protection for your big head this bike helmet will do the trick nicely. Well ventilated too. Very lightweight even forget it’s on.

Great helmet! Comfortable and light weight. Nice looking design. The reason I rated it only 4 stars is the picture is way off on the green color. I have included a photo of the helmet in direct sunlight vs the stock photo. Also the visor is a slightly different color than the rest of the helmet.

Unfortunately, the visor isn’t long and low enough to block low sunlight. Why did Giro not make it adjustable? Otherwise, comfortable on my big head. Wish they sold longer visors to replace the one it came with.

I was concerned that the one size fits all idea wouldnt be good but this thing fits my normal sized head perfectly using the adjustment at the back. I couldnt be more satisfied.

This helmet is the second one of this model that Ive owned. Its predecessor served honorably, protecting my head when I crashed while riding on a dirt and gravel trail. There was no visible damage to the predecessor, but when a bike helmet has had impact, you replace it no matter what. This helmet fits the same as its predecessor, and its nice and light. I also like the fairly large visor to block out the sun when Im riding west in the late afternoon. Strangely enough, the visor from the predecessor does not quite fit this helmet, even though theyre the same model--not that it really matters.

So far the most affordable quality helmet out there for everyday commute to work!

A MIPS helmet that is light weight and trail worthy. I got this helmet originally because it was cost effective and would serve as a general purpose MTB helmet. I actually use it for my daily commutes as well due to the weight not being much higher than my road helmet, but offering additional protection.

Helmet fit perfectly right out of the box--no replacing pads to get a proper fit, no complicated strap adjustments. I tighten the chin strap a little, but otherwise it was a no-fuss fit experience. Helmet is comfortable. Hopefully wont find out the hard way how well it protects my melon!

Helmet fits nice, looks good, and is priced reasonably for having MIPS. I gave it 4 stars, since the adjustment knob is weird to use when the helmet is on. Basically, I had to put on and remove the helmet a few times to get it to be comfortable. Sometimes I make adjustments when in the woods, so it will be more difficult, but not end of the world. My old junky helmet has the knob in a great spot and you can adjust it when riding.
