I have never been comfortable in a bike helmet. I discovered this helmet renting mountain bikes in Canada this summer. So roomy and well padded for comfort. I have a very large head and past helmets (including other Giros) were just not comfortable. This one has room to spare and is shaped just right for me. I just got my helmet in and am so excited to use it!

Fits almost as comfy as my specialized road lid . That’s saying a lot…because my roadie, is my favorite lid!

A MIPS helmet that is light weight and trail worthy. I got this helmet originally because it was cost effective and would serve as a general purpose MTB helmet. I actually use it for my daily commutes as well due to the weight not being much higher than my road helmet, but offering additional protection.

This is a great helmet. It is very light and fits well with the adjustable system.

The helmet is light and a cool matte black. The only thing I dont like about it is that the shape isnt narrow. Its shaped more like a snowboard / skateboard helmet. Other than that I really dont know how well it works cuz I havent had a crash.

I am rewritting my review because I was in a severe downhilling accident, that resulted in a major concussion spending 18 hours in the hospital. However if not for this helmet and the quality of it I would certainly not still be here.

Because of my big head, I was afraid of a too tight fit and would have to return it. I measured my head several times and I thought I was right at the edge of a good fit. However, to my pleasant surprise, right out of the box the fit was a little loose. Tightened the adjustment knob a couple of notches, adjusted the strap, and I was good to go. As far as the visor - the verdict is still out on that. Fortunately, if the visor annoys, it’s easy to remove, and also easy to snap back on if needed. This helmet is an excellent buy. It’s configured with MIPS, great color, and offered by a leading company in bike helmets. Highly recommend.

This helmet provides true protection from injury. Opening day 2020 season at Northstar, weather was great, conditions great, tons of people not so great. Other riders wont keep me off the trail. Anyways, 1st run of the season I came across a father telling his son how to clear a rock garden. Problem was the kid was in the trail, so was his dad, apple fell close to the tree. Well, I couldnt see away around the kid so I could run over the father. I had to go off trail resulting in head and clavicle impacting a pine tree. After impact I continued to roll down the mountain nearly 30 yards. My right foot stayed clipped in, that made standing up a challenge, even after my head cleared. Kid and his richard father took off, not apology, no concern, people suck. The worst part, the wreck was witnessed by all standing in line for the lift!!! The shame I felt cant be described. Needless to say if I ever see that guy or his kid, well, let your imagination run wild.

Unfortunately, the visor isn’t long and low enough to block low sunlight. Why did Giro not make it adjustable? Otherwise, comfortable on my big head. Wish they sold longer visors to replace the one it came with.
