I tried this out on my bathroom radiator and it did a great job of blasting out dust devils and melting through grime. The reservoir is not that large, but water=weight and I wouldn’t want it any heavier considering that you must hold both the unit in your hand and the release button down with your thumb to make it work, all while controlling the direction of the steam. It seems at least one reviewer thought a safety feature was a product defect: It’s true, you can’t open the cap to refill the reservoir until the unit cools down. This takes longer than you might wish if you’re eager to get back to steaming, but just as you wouldn’t want it any heavier, when the cap does release and you observe the temperature of the metal inside, you definitely wouldn’t want it any hotter. Stick it in the freezer for a few minutes if you want to speed things up. Subtracting one star for a bait-and-switch marketing ploy that accompanied the unit. I received no recompense for this review.

The safety cap gets stuck but a big wrench tight mid-cap and you can get it loose. (Like squish it out of shape tight) Then take off the ‘safety’ part by removing the outer cap. It’s less safe but more functional.

This steam cleaner is amazing. I started using it to help me clean the grease and difficult-to-reach places on my range top. Before I knew it, I was using the steamer on everything. My quick range top cleaning turned into me cleaning the entire kitchen. This product made it easy and fun especially because of the immediate gratification you get in seeing stains and difficult-to-reach areas sparkling in a matter of minutes. Its worth every penny. This steam cleaner brings cleaning to a whole new level.

Hot Hot Hot | This is a fantastic little unit - gets super hot and comes with a variety of quick-change adapters. I used it to steam and install a carpet kit in my Jeep restoration project, to clean and degrease the forks and tranny case of my 75 Yamaha YZ80, and to sterilize my self-cleaning cat box... (sides and areas not covered by litter occasionally get sprayed). I love this device and although the reservoir seems small, it takes a long time to use all the steam this device creates in a single fill. I read a bunch of the reviews on this and so I got it with slightly lowered expectations. However after using it for a LOT of things, I have to say Im very impressed. As for it sputtering and spitting out hot water, that seems to only happen when you first start using it as the unit gets the steam through the hose. Lasted a few seconds and then pure, hot, fun-cleaning steam! If you follow the directions, this thing works like a charm. Ive used it on appliances, tile, walls, my truck ... all with great results. The different attachments are great, too. I gunked up one of the brushes pretty good while doing greasy stuff or adhesives, but it was easy to clean and seems like this should last quite a long time. After about 5 minutes I couldnt stop looking for stuff to use it on. You do need to let it cool between refills or you cant remove the cap. A pretty smart safety feature. So that would be my only criticism is that I have to wait for the cool down when Im in a steaming frenzy. (But that may be more of a commentary on my patience. ) Overall, a full tank lasts a pretty good amount of time. For someone who doesnt really like cleaning, this thing is an awesome tool!

Summary: Overall, I would say, for this price, it has versatile usage and holds its value. 5 stars well deserved. Useful details: - This steamer is good for general cleaning around the house, specially kitchen shelves, sink and mirrors. - The bonus, specially for me is the steam iron attachment that can de-wrinkle clothes (like my formal shirts) without any hassle or time. - The total capacity advertised is 350ml however, the instruction manual that comes with the product says we recommend maximum capacity to be 175ml which lasts about 5 minutes of steam and not 20 minutes. (See the attached photo) - I dont see how one would clean their car with it since most times you dont have a power outlet nearby your car - The cable isnt that long either. - The power cable, in my opinion, could have been longer, like twice its current length - not complaining though. - The total weight of the device depends on how much water you fill in. By itself, it is pretty lightweight. - The plastic funnel starts melting when you insert it to refill the steamer if it is hot (which it would be if you are using it and need a refill) - so be careful when doing so.

This is a great product for small jobs. I use this to disinfect my house and it gets exceptionally hot. I havent used all the attachments yet but they seem like they will work just fine. Once it reaches a cert as in temp the top where you put the water locks for safety and will not open until the temp lowers to a safe enough temp to open the tank. The cons to this product are the tank is sufficient enough to finish an entire small job but once done you are locked out of the device until the temp drops and I still havent figured out exactly how long it takes but its at least 2 or more hours. But other than that I think this is a great product and very safe! I have a cleaning company so I will need a bigger one for jobs but this one is great for around the house

It worked well enough for the purpose I bought it for (cleaning furniture that I’m restoring). It is a clunky for small purposes and not being able to lock the on button means you can’t just have it run while using the hose attachment. I did buy this used in Very Good condition. The description said it would come in a damaged box, which who cares. What it didn’t say is that it is missing the brush attachments, which were the sole attachments I wanted to use. Someone else mentioned missing these in their box, which is a little coincidental. If Amazon or sellers are open to having used items for sale, there should be more specific and accurate descriptions as to what the product will be.

I had to clean up a very messy bathroom, this machine was great, it loosened up the stains on the floor and in the shower and on and around the toilet. Next will be the kitchen.
