> 3 dayI recently bought the HBN Smart Plug 15A and it has been a lifesaver! I was using regular plugs in my living room and it always left me feeling frustrated. With the HBN Smart Plug though, I find myself spending less time trying to unplug things and more time enjoying my living room. One particular experience that had me laughing was when I tried to explain this new device to my mom. She didnt understand what Alexa or the WiFi & Bluetooth Outlet Extender was all about, so I jokingly plugged one of her lamps into the socket and told her that I could just ask Alexa to turn it off. Her jaw dropped when she saw it work, and then she asked if this meant she no longer had to get up from her chair every time she wanted to flick a switch! The HBN Smart Plug is easy to install, works well with Alexa and makes life a little bit easier. Highly recommend getting one for your home!

Greater than one weekThe product works well…but only because I still had my old WiFi extender that offers a 2.4G range. This product does not connect to WiFi 5G that most current routers have. If your router has 2.4G support, this product works wonderfully. Alexa integration was pretty smooth. Download the specific company app and add these plugs, then Alexa can import them from that app. Also, each plug (right and left) can be controlled separately both manually or through the app/Alexa.

> 3 dayFirst, the it could be much better news: The documentation, pictures, manual (if you can call it that), etc, are incomplete, unclear, etc. For example, my specific product isnt list on their site, there isnt a picture of my product, the app tells you to do things that are impossible (press the reset button when there is no such button), etc. Now, the good news: Once you understand how to get it connected (that is, the setup stuff), SO FAR, its really a great product! The apps button turns the light(s) (or whatever) on/off very smoothly and quickly. I had a couple lights that had switches that were hard to reach and/or twist. With this little gadget, I can use Alexa, the app, or the buttons to turn those lights on/off. Beef up the administration/infrastructure and youll see lots of 5-star ratings.

> 3 dayI spent over an hour trying to get this to sync with my Wi-Fi. I know I have 2.4 because I have other things linked to it. Little disappointment, will be returning

Greater than one weekSo I plugged it in and tried to get it to connect to my wifi took a bit but I had to connect it to the outlet near my router first and then move it to the outlet I wanted which was a bit further away and now works fine, but as for the Alexa integration, when I tried to connect it directly from the app I would get an error message that my Alexa app was not updated and I had to go through the Alexa app itself to add my devices but over all works great I would honestly get more once I need them

Greater than one weekThese might be the least complicated smart switches I have ever set up, and they work great. I bought them to control my indoor Christmas lighting, and they work amazing.

Greater than one weekI bought 2 sets of these. The genius 12 yr old had no problems setting it up with his Alexa in his room. I wasnt able to set up the one for my living room.. it requires downloading an app, then marrying up Alexa and the app. Too complicated for me. I gave up and bought another kind that didnt require a separate app to work through Alexa in my living room.

> 3 dayI bought this so I could turn the recirculation pump on and off from upstairs. I have to agree with other reviewers...the set up can be a little frustrating. But anyone with decent tech skills can figure it out. It works well with the Alexa app or using voice commands with my Dot. Id say buy this plug if you dont mind a bit of a hassle during install. It was a good price and is working well.

> 3 dayI watched videos on Amazon, YouTube and others on YouTube that a QR code on the package directed me to along with reading the enclosed instructions that were in the package. It still took me over two hours to set it up to work remotely. Once I got there it worked as well as any device I use with Alexa and theres the convenience of in effect having an added outlet. Id buy it again.
