> 3 dayProduct is as expected. Downloaded HBN app, plugged in plug, held one of front buttons down to go into pairing mode, followed app instructions and presto it works. Moving into Alexa app very easy as well! Recommended for the ease of set up for sure!!

> 3 dayThis dual outlet is very convenient because I only have one plug in my bathroom and had constantly needed to switch between hair tools or whatever, I used this smart plug to create a routine with Alexa (i dont have AC in my house) every morning Alexa turns on 1 plug in which is connected an electric heater, after a couple minutes my bathroom is warm so I can take my shower and get ready for work. Great purchase, I totally recommend.

02-04-2025I have several different brands of smart plugs that I control through the Smart Life app. I wanted to add a double outlet, and ordered this one at a good price from Amazon. The set up instructions were confusing at best, so I contacted BN-Link customer service for help. The plug turned out to be defective, so the company quickly sent a replacement. A couple things I did learn about connecting this plug - select BLE + Wi-Fi as the device to add to Smart Life. There are two buttons on the plug, only need to push one of them for power to connect Wi-Fi to the whole outlet. The two outlets on the app and the plug aren’t separately identified - you have to plug something in to see what controls what. In spite of the quirky instructions and the initial problems, the unit is working well now. Thank you to Steven, Darren and Dianna in customer service for their help.

> 3 dayTook me all of 10 minutes to setup and most of that time was typing in device names and then deciding to switch the names between plugs. You simply download the Tuya app, connect to your wifi, push a button on the plug until the blue light flashes, follow Tuya prompts and you are connected. For Alexa, go to Skills, search for HBN Smart, Enable To Use, and enter Tuya account info. Done. Obviously there are Routines you can set in either Tuya or Alexa but if you have any experience with other smart devices, this will be easy as well. Highly recommend for ease of use. As an aside, the plugs themselves are relatively trim so they fit nicely in the outlet without interfering with other plugs.

> 3 dayPerfect for my Christmas decorations around the house. I don’t need to get up to see if I remember to turn all the christmas lights/decorations off. I can control them now on my phone. BUT, I had a hard time installing or pairing it to my phone. Here’s my situation and how I solved it and made it work after an hour. First, make sure your wifi 2.4GHz is on. I have verizon fios and though I have a dual wifi connection, I’ve only been using the 5Ghz. I couldn’t find my 2.4ghz on my wifi list. So I did some research and had to turn off or disable the SON under wifi settings on fios app. Unplug my router and plug it back in after a minute or two then bam! it shows up. So when I got my phone connected to 2.4, I went ahead and start the pairing. This thing didn’t come with instruction so I went back to this page and read the manual. You will need to download the app “smart life” or simply scan the QR barcode in the back of the device. Then you will need to set the device up on pairing mode by press and hold either of the white button and the light blinks and it should be now visible on your phone. Then connect. Now, if you want to connect your phone back to 5Ghz(because I think it’s much faster than 2.4) all you gotta do is connect your device to alexa. Then you caan forget about the smart life app really because you can navigate or control your device thru alexa. As long as your device is connected to the 2.4ghz network your fine and that’s all that matters. I hope this helps! I highly recommend this and I might get one more set. F

> 3 dayI have six of dual receptacle model and they are far and away the best Ive tried; several brands have done very poorly here, notably Wemo, they cant seem to find the devices, although there is a strong signal, and moving them often required reinstalling which was tedious; in contrast these work flawlessly, the Bluetooth feature immediately finds the device bypassing the need to manually install, and onces you given your WIFI password once youre good to go for the other devices. The software adapts perfectly to changes. I plan to purchase light switches as well.

> 3 dayMake sure you use the Smart Life app. These are so easy to set up. Like having the advantage of two sockets from one outlet. Bought two and both work well with Alexa

> 3 dayFirst, the it could be much better news: The documentation, pictures, manual (if you can call it that), etc, are incomplete, unclear, etc. For example, my specific product isnt list on their site, there isnt a picture of my product, the app tells you to do things that are impossible (press the reset button when there is no such button), etc. Now, the good news: Once you understand how to get it connected (that is, the setup stuff), SO FAR, its really a great product! The apps button turns the light(s) (or whatever) on/off very smoothly and quickly. I had a couple lights that had switches that were hard to reach and/or twist. With this little gadget, I can use Alexa, the app, or the buttons to turn those lights on/off. Beef up the administration/infrastructure and youll see lots of 5-star ratings.

> 3 dayA little hard to set up at first but then I watched a YouTube video and it explained everything so much better. The thing I can’t stand is the bright lights. It’s sooooo bright that it keeps me up at night. Works as a night light but not if you like complete darkness to sleep in. Might just find black tape to cover it cause the double outlet is really convenient.
