These are a great way to build a small sensor board without needing a separate processor.

I had purchased arduinos and the esp-01 separately before I realized these were a thing. I purchased 6 of these so far and will probably end up buying more. These are very versatile and are perfect for the automation project Im working on. I would recommend these to anyone looking to work with devices (sensors, servos, etc) that they want to control or monitor online.

Works Great!

Has everything you need and they even pad the bottom pins with styrofoam to prevent them from getting bent. I am a beginner and bought the wrong board before (ESP12-F) and it did not work with the libraries they instructed. When selecting a board in the Arduino IDE, select Generic esp8266 or NODEMCU 1.0 ESP12E. Also make sure your usb cable supports data!

These are well made boards, flashed micropython and having 0 issues.

Works well. There are a lot of tutorials online that get you up and running quickly.

Works great, unless youre trying to build a battery operated device, in which case this board draws too much current even in deep sleep mode. It seems like it would be easy for the board manufacturers to use better components (for example, the HT7333-A voltage regulator is great for low power, and they could have used it instead.) I dont know why none of them consider that use case.

These are excellent breakout boards, plenty of support libraries and projects to follow online for these specifically. No soldering required.

I bought a set of these and I am able to program both of them tasmoto and only one of them connects to my local network. I can program the bad with with blink and other programs and works fine just no wireless connectivity. Update I as able to find info on fixing the second one and it works great, so giving 5 stars.

Cant wait to utilize all of this devices potential. You must download Esp8266 drivers for it to work with Arduino IDE.
