> 3 dayThese bags are wonderful!!! I cannot find any sort of trash bags with handles anymore. they all either come with those stupid twist ties or have those plastic pull string ties. Horrible!!! I used to buy this brand of bag at Kroger but not I buy them online. You can tie up the bag with the long handles and still be able to carry the trash without the handles cutting off the circulation in your hand (like the pull string ties do to me) The bags are very strong and dont leak either. The bags also come in the color black if that is preferred.

> 3 dayThis product is better than the name brand product. Name brand would puncture and tear easily from a cardboard box corner (I mean like frozen dinner box). This bag is really sturdy. Ive got this one on my subscription list.

> 3 dayI found these randomly browsing at your standard hefty glad etc...I was like ok therees nothing to lose they hsve a satisfaction guarantee... By the second bag I was hooked. I usually associate handled bags with like dollar store tie bags but these are game changers. These bags literally dont even get thin with extreme weight.. they are so thick and strong omg they put the most expensive name brand bags to shame times a million!! its weird because they stretch to make room for all your Trash (I like to fill em as full as I can because obviously why waste) but they never feel like theyre going to break.. Never once have I thought to myself... Wow these handles are cutting off the circulation in my arm.... Which happened all the time before... On top of that Ive never had to like use my other hand to add support on the bottom due to weight .. Hopefully Im making sense but bottom line is these are the bees knees!!!! My only comment to the company would be to add like a light vanilla or even like a pine scent to these...But thats just me and my love for scented bags!!

> 3 dayI have bought these for years, then i tried the more environmentally sound one, which was grey. That one was ok, but thin and see-through. So, I switched back to this one and found it is much thinner than before - which is good for the oceans etc - as my goal was to not use non-biodegradable plastic, but i needed a strong bag and came back to buy. It is not as it used to be - you can see through this one - and I liked the opaqueness of the product as it used to be. So, now that it is see-through and thinner, I no longer consider it the best garbage out there. NOW, if this was compostable/biodegradable, I would stick with it - but it is not, so Ill keep looking as this product is no longer the same. I used to use it for other reasons - in a rush, bag up clothes to give away, put extra bedding we didnt need - if in a pinch, but now that is see-through and thinner it does not serve that purpose as well. Still looking for a strong compostable / biodegradable non-see-through bag. This is still a good bag - but I no longer want to contribute plastic to the oceans and so thick or thin, it is not ideal.

> 3 dayLong before discovering Hippo Sak, I had said a vehement, fervent, unequivocal NO to any tall kitchen trash bag that involved plastic drawstring handles. The reason being, those bags ALWAYS fell down into the can -- no matter what the brand, what the dimensions, what the thickness, what the price of said bags. And if there is anything that makes me surly, it is the can liner falling down into the bag when you throw something into the trash. SO I discovered (years ago) that the solution to that was buying ONLY handle-tie trash bags -- as in, the handles and the bag are all ONE PIECE and there is no drawstring effect. Im not sure why, but no matter what the brand, what the dimensions, what the thickness, and what the price, this type of bag NEVER caves in but stays snug around the rim until youre ready to remove it. From thenceforth and forever, any type of tall can liner except those with handle-ties were denied entrance into my home. But then, eventually, the type of trash can liner Id come to know and love became -- I have no idea why -- difficult to find on the shelves of my local one-stop retailer, which shelves were crammed to bulging with drawstring-tie can liners, as though that was all anyone wanted. So I went on a fishing expedition on Amazon and discovered Hippo Sak. Reviewed the ratings (all deeming these bags outstanding), ordered some, and HALLELUJAH! This trash can liner is ALL THAT and then some. You want handle ties? The top of this bag is generous to the point that the handles snugly hug the outside of the can for several inches down from the top. Youre never going to have any part of that bag falling into the can, no matter what you throw at it. In fact, theres so much room left in the top of these bags after youve topped off your trash can, that you can remove it and add lots more trash before carrying everything outside by those extra-generous and sturdy handles. I go around the house and gather all of the smaller wastebaskets and empty them into the top of the Hippo Sak and still have a hard time filling it. This bag is extra thick and strong and can take all the trash you feed it. Absolutely the most luxuriant and efficient trash can liner available on the market, as far as I am concerned. The big box lasts forever, too. Get yours today.

> 3 dayI have been using drawstring garbage bags for as long as I can remember (20 or 30 years), usually the type that are supposed to stretch and be resistant to punctures. Well, lately, the drawstring bags seem to be flimsier, so I decided to give the Hippo Sak handle trash bags a try. Weve used about 8 of these so far, and I have been very pleased with them overall. They feel thick and have not ripped or had any leaks (in spite of visible liquid in the bottom of one of them). The handles are both easy to tie and to untie to add something else into the bag, and the bags stay in place in the garbage can instead of falling inside. As long as the price of these stays comparable to the drawstring bags and they stay this quality, I plan to buy them for the foreseeable future.
