I first purchased these at Kroger, but they dont carry them anymore. Glad I can still get them through Amazon, because they are sturdier than ANY other garbage bag Ive EVER used, and Im 69, so Ive used em all, sonny! Love the handles too! Extra strong reinforced bottom! And it uses recycled plastic collected from the ocean, so they do their part to be responsible caretakers of the planet. Hippo saks.Saks.. good name!

Finally a no stink, decent weight, tall kitchen garbage bag! The handles are a bit clunky but they are very sturdy. I am tired of all the offensive perfumes manufacturers put in products. They are so strong that they even leach into supposedly non-scented products stored near them. Man made scents are toxic to the human body. Trying to cover up an unpleasant ordor with another irritating chemical is contributing to the higher rates of people with allergies and asthma. This product is a good way to start detoxifying yourself. Update: We have used these for several weeks now and can honestly say these are the best kitchen bags we have ever used. Since I am in my late 60’s and my husband is in his 70’s, thats a long time. My husband is stingy and would always refuse to double line our garbage pail. Consequently, the older thinner bags we once used would leak and I would have to clean up the mess. Not so with the current bags! They do not leak and the design is such that taking them out of the pail is easy. I originally didnt know if I would like the tail ties but I am a believer now. So easy to carry and they dont cut into my skin. Please dont ever go out of business without letting me know so I can buy a case.

When we found these trash bags 3 years ago we were happy. They were sturdy & very affordable. Then they went out of stock. Okay - pandemic affecting supply chain. When they came back in stock they were flimsy - tear at the top where the handles are. The red power strip is hanging half off the bottom like a school girls hair ribbon. And they doubled in price. Will definitely be looking for better alternatives.

I tried this brand of bags a while back, and liked them but they ripped out occasionally. I decided to give them another try after being improved. Happily, they seem to be holding up MUCH better now... as promised. Time will tell I suppose, but for now, they are as good as they guaranteed 2 years ago. Im happy with the progress; or as happy as garbage sacks can make me anyway LOL!

I love everything about them they hold great amount of trash never leak or tear but why have the double it price over the last year

I have only used 2 bags so far, but these 13 gal tall kitchen waste bags are of very good quality. They are a good thickness, no tearing or ripping, and the handles are very easy to tie and sturdy to use for carrying. The bags fit tightly around the top of the trash can so there is no slipping. They are also easy to remove. Other plastic trash bags I have purchased have stuck together and have been a bear to open due to static, but these are very easy to open up and use. Highly recommended.

These bags are wonderful!!! I cannot find any sort of trash bags with handles anymore. they all either come with those stupid twist ties or have those plastic pull string ties. Horrible!!! I used to buy this brand of bag at Kroger but not I buy them online. You can tie up the bag with the long handles and still be able to carry the trash without the handles cutting off the circulation in your hand (like the pull string ties do to me) The bags are very strong and dont leak either. The bags also come in the color black if that is preferred.

When I first read the reviews for these...I laughed and told my husband how it was funny how people were obsessing over these trash bags. Now..we are part of that crowd. I have never given thought to trash bags honestly...you put trash in them..thats it. You always ended up with holes here or there.normal..or so I thought until these bags. AMAZING!!! I love them. No holes..they hold everything. Fit my oval trash can. The handles are my favorite. No pushing the trash down to make more room..they are perfect. Im still feeling crazy about how I love these trash bags. Try them...you wont regret it.
