> 3 dayI use this bronze wool on the exhaust pipes of my motorcycle. It gets the chrome nice and shiny! Burnt on bugs? Bronze wool. Accidentally touch hot pipes with synthetic fabrics? Bronze wool. Water spots? Bronze wool. This stuff is good for other chrome items... It doesnt work as well for aluminum.

> 3 dayThe whole point is that it was supposed to remove the rust without damaging the bluing.

Greater than one weekWorks fine but it sheds fibers pretty bad and the pads tend to fall apart pretty easily. Bought to clean light rust from rifle barrel and it worked fine for that.

> 3 dayI used this with oil to remove rust from a WWII Kar 98k bolt. The rust was in the contours under the gas shield where a brush would not reach well. I got the rust easily with a little bit of this and some oil. Did not harm the 70+ year old bluing.

Greater than one weekWhile this is considered a marine product, it was recommended to me for keeping rats out of holes. It may be too soon to see its effectiveness, as its only been in my grill for a short time. The vote is still out.

> 3 dayThis is exactly the product for which I was looking. I shall be putting it to use in a somewhat unorthodox manner; I teach a self-contained geometry class to high school girls who have learning disabilities. One of the things I have noticed is that they have trouble translating what they learn in the subject to the real world, so I designed a class in which we are applying what we are learning by building miniature furniture in detail, using everything we learn in geometry to design and build what I teach. Aside from being a doctoral candidate in Special Education, Im a master cabinetmaker, so I know how to teach carpentry. The steel wool is to be used to rub down the items we build after giving it several coats of varnish in order to achieve a very smooth and professional finish. This steel wool is absolutely the perfect quality for that purpose and will not make uneven scratches in the finish of the wood surface on which we are presently working. It will help to smooth the wood perfectly to receive its final coats of varnish. As I said, a bit of an unorthodox use of the product, but thats why I bought it, and its quality is just that for which I was looking. If you are into woodworking, youll love this bronze wool.

> 3 dayGreat for guitar frets. They do not shed and crumble or pack down densely. 1 pad lasts longer than I expected. Especially compared to steel. I found the natural oxidation of guitar strings was minimized. Less evident on my fingers. Not cheap in price but not cheap in performance. Overall I am pleased.

> 3 dayLove this stuff! Whether for woodworking or mechanic jobs--this stuff is almost a necessity in my shop. Far superior to steel wool for numerous reasons! Less lint, doesnt rust, doesnt scratch steel, isnt oily, etc.
