> 24 hourI read and watched tons of reviews. I expected this to be more powerful than it actually is compared to other fans this one’s OK. It does the trick, but if you’re looking for something super powerful with a larger turning radius, I would look somewhere else. I put this, about 10 feet away from my bed and I can feel it but I just wish it was more powerful. It’s a nice fan but unfortunately after a couple months, something went wrong with the lights on the display and most of them are lit up, but regardless, I use it quite a bit .

> 24 hourDescription is not accurate. I wanted black and the only option was to get the tower fan + the mini fan but mini fan did not arrive despite paying extra for it. The tower fan works well. VERY quiet, easy to use, very lightweight. Its a bit annoying that every time you shut it off, you have to reselect the fan speed and oscillation but I can live with that.

> 24 hourSo far! I love this fan! It has continually performed well for over a year and when I say continually I mean every day and mostly all the hours Im in my bedroom year round. Its quiet, I like the many settings and the option to dim and turn off the light is a real bonus at bedtime. Ive been traumatized each of the three times I knocked it over and it bounced off the floor. No problems. Whew. Its still quiet and youd never know it fell. I bought another tower fan from Costco at a lower price than this one for the kitchen and that one is a piece of junk compared to this one. Ive become one of those people who cant sleep without a fan running because of this purchase. The timer is a bonus too though I rarely use it. 100% very satisfied consumer!

> 24 hourLet’s be real, this is a fan and not an ac unit. It won’t cool down the house much. I live in area where we don’t have that many hot days, average 60-70 degrees. The days when it went to 90 degrees, I sure didn’t feel like the fan cool the house down at all. It work like any other Dan, blowing air on you. It is strong thought, don’t get me wrong but not cooling strong. Love how’s there several settings and more quiet than other fans I got, not whisper quiet though cause again, it’s a fan.

> 24 hourI bought this after reading many good reviews of the unit. At first I was pretty happy with it, it was relatively quiet on higher settings but oddly more noisy at lower levels. If you live in a city where there is a constant hum this wont be a problem but in our quiet house the lower levels have an obvious electrical hum due to the speed control circuitry being cheap. After a year or so we started to notice a light grinding/clicking sound. After disassembling the unit to inspect what might be making the noise it was discovered that the sound was coming from the fan motor itself. After cleaning the inside of the unit and using some light oil to try to keep things running smooth I put it back together and decided to just live with it. Recently I bought another one of these and to my surprise the old one is moving about half or less of the air that the new one is. Yes, you might think well he took it apart so he just didnt put it back together correctly and I get that and cannot stop you from thinking that. On the other hand I know my way around fixing things and the fan worked exactly the same before taking it apart as after (just a bit cleaner and more lubed). What this says to me is that the fan motor and/or motor control circuitry on this unit is under-powered and is being worked too hard leading towards premature failure. A good fan should be able to last at least 5 years before any noticeable wear or failure IMO. At this point the fan puts out about as much air on high as the new one does at the white noise level. Pros: decent noise level even at higher speeds good range of speeds remote works well Cons short lifespan (1-2 years) developed clicking/grinding difficult to clean properly without taking the unit apart

> 24 hourBought this for an addition to my house that has poor heating and cooling. It’s 12 x 20 feet. Very impressed, quite quiet and it cools the room well.

> 24 hourFirst of all, let me say what a nice-looking fan this is. I spent too much time picking the decor for my little abode to want to have an ugly fan sitting around! Of course, right now, I have it sitting in the doorway of my bedroom (classy, I know!) because Im seeing how well it cools the room down. As for the rest of the positives: This fan is SOOOO quiet that, at first, I doubted that it would be very cooling. I was wrong. Once I got this assembled (very easy, btw) & figured out the controls (not too hard), I turned my AC off! LOL Being from Alaska, this Iowa heat and humidity is taking some getting used to. Also, Im not very familiar with AC and the costs (except for a horrendous bill in Arizona several years back). My apartment is a nice-sized 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and living room. There is a ceiling fan in bedroom, but at night, it still can get warm. Since this fan is doing so great at cooling the whole front of the apartment, I plan to put it in doorway of bedroom during the nights. With my AC off right now, I am totally comfortable. Its only 75 degrees out this morning, so I will see how well this helps when the temps rise (the other day, it was around 90). Even if I have to use this in conjunction with AC, I will be able to power the AC down a bit to help with the bill. By the way, having a remote will be super nice - when I get the AAA batteries that were not included. A plus is that the remote stores so neatly in the back of the fan. NOTE: For assembly, its easier it you follow the pictures/directions on the box flap rather than using the booklet. The booklet makes it seem more complicated than it really is.
