> 3 dayI read and watched tons of reviews. I expected this to be more powerful than it actually is compared to other fans this one’s OK. It does the trick, but if you’re looking for something super powerful with a larger turning radius, I would look somewhere else. I put this, about 10 feet away from my bed and I can feel it but I just wish it was more powerful. It’s a nice fan but unfortunately after a couple months, something went wrong with the lights on the display and most of them are lit up, but regardless, I use it quite a bit .

13-04-2025This thing is great! I love how many options of speed there are, and the range on the oscillation setting is massive, it truly reaches the whole room. I have this in my master room for air flow/cooling and also white noise at night, and it is super at both. The lowest setting is almost undetectably quiet but still puts out a good bit of air flow. The highest setting is pretty dang powerful for such a small fan, with a still very quiet sound, and really truly cools down the room (doesn’t just move air), or at least feels like it. It’s honestly almost not loud enough, my last fan was way loud so I was used to it. I LOVE the option on top to turn down the light on the display; it can dim it to three or four different levels, the lowest being off- which is super nice for at night. The remote is cool, I need to get batteries for it but it seems convenient. Installation was the easiest ever, you just unscrew the red thing from the base, snap the two base pieces together w/ the cord in the middle, and screw the red thing all the way down. Took like 30 seconds. It looks super nice also, it’s super lightweight but doesn’t look cheap. Hoping it lasts a long long time! 10/10 recommend!

Greater than one weekAmazon makes purchasing this item for our senior clients extremely easy. Delivers to their doo, but we pick up the bill.

> 3 dayThe fan is super quiet, and has 8 speed setting, plus it oscillates. Great value for the money.

> 3 dayBought this for an addition to my house that has poor heating and cooling. It’s 12 x 20 feet. Very impressed, quite quiet and it cools the room well.

> 3 dayTLDR: Only used a few times, quit working. Warranty not worth the paper its written on. Amazon return time is only 30 days -- if buying, consider buying elsewhere (Target and Walmart, for example, both allow 90 days on this item) just in case yours stops working as quickly as mine did. ---- Bought this fan in April, proud of myself for this year preparing ahead of time for the hot summer heat! Had read all the reviews -- fan comes highly recommended. And indeed it looked great out of the box. Set it out and tried it once or twice, just to make sure I knew how to operate it, then awaited the summer heat. Summer arrived a few weeks later. The first hot night I happily switched on my new Honeywell tower fan and drifted off to sleep to a gentle breeze. Unfortunately I woke up drenched in sweat, with a fan that was still oscillating but blowing no air at all. Thought surely I had misunderstood some setting, maybe had accidentally hit the sleep button that would tell it to shut off after a few hours or something (but unclear why it would still be oscillating if that were the case). Scoured the manual, double checked all the settings, couldnt find anything mysterious, so decided to try again the next night. Again...gentle breeze when i went to bed...by morning a rotating tower blowing no air. This time I felt the sides of the tower and realized they were very warm to the touch. After a few more attempts (this time during waking hours so I could monitor) the same thing happened -- shuts off after not much time, sides warm to touch... Seems like the motor must be overheating after a certain timeframe, at which point it shuts off and stops blowing air. Checked the return time on Amazon -- should have done that before I bought. Has anyone else noticed those return windows getting shorter and shorter??? Turns out the return window is only 30 days, and by this point I was past that (thatll teach me not to prepare ahead of time!) FYI, other retailers offer much longer than that -- Target and Walmart, for example, both offer 90 day returns (with the added benefit of being able to walk the item into a store to return it, not having to package it up for shipping) So I checked the warranty. Evidently in order to make use of the Honeywell 1-year warranty, I have to package the item up, ship it at my expense to El Paso, for some reason still send THEM a $10 check for shipping and handling, and hope that eventually itll show up back at my doorstep (probably long after the summer heat has subsided...but maybe thats just me being pessimistic). And yes, I tried calling the 800 number -- the one listed on Amazon is incorrect, but the way...the guy on the other end listened politely to my plight, and then told me the number I called wasnt the one I needed to call for this product, and hung up before I could ask him for the proper number. A search on the Honeywell site led me to another number, but after several lengthly attempts trying to get through all the various phone prompts, I still hadnt reached anyone who could help me with this issue. So...might be a good choice in fans, assuming yours actually works! But just on the off chance you experience the same issue I did, if you decide to go with this fan at the very least make note of the return policy and consider buying elsewhere.

> 3 daySo far! I love this fan! It has continually performed well for over a year and when I say continually I mean every day and mostly all the hours Im in my bedroom year round. Its quiet, I like the many settings and the option to dim and turn off the light is a real bonus at bedtime. Ive been traumatized each of the three times I knocked it over and it bounced off the floor. No problems. Whew. Its still quiet and youd never know it fell. I bought another tower fan from Costco at a lower price than this one for the kitchen and that one is a piece of junk compared to this one. Ive become one of those people who cant sleep without a fan running because of this purchase. The timer is a bonus too though I rarely use it. 100% very satisfied consumer!

> 3 dayThe product is ok, the RPM is low that makes air flow less effective, design and looks are great, little costly compare to other brands available

> 3 dayAnother Edit: I have since got another fan from another company called Dreo, which are right here on Amazon. Now that fan was quiet. Way more quiet then any of these Quietset fans I got.. the first or the replacements. So my suggestion, skip honeywell and go look at the Dreo tower fans. Much better. **Update to My Original Review that is below** So I changed my star Rating for the fan from 2 Stars Down to 1. Honeywell, as a company, has been good at sending replacements and working with me, however, they cant seem to get me a model of this fan that actually works as it should. The first replacement had a loud buzz to it, the second replacent had a bad rumble to it, and now the third replacement, which I received today, is quieter, however in 3 out of the 8 modes available, there is this big vibrating rumble you can feel in the floor, and hear. Very Annoying. The motor is still loud even in sleep mode, although this is the first one I can almost deal with the noise the motor makes. Do yourself a favor -- skip this fan. A good warranty is good, but its useless if the model sucks so bad that everytime they send you one it has a problem with it. ** End of Edit ** Short / Quick version: Pros: Looks great, Slim, lightweight, Remote Control responds well, a decent amount of air, easy to put together, Honeywell has awesome (if not slow) customer service! Cons: -- Dealbreaker for me: Annoying motor noise cancels out any quietness you get -- the questionable build quality of base you put together Long Version: I ordered this fan due to recommendations for it on almost every page I looked up fans on. I was looking for a quiet and cool setting to watch tv with it and to sleep with a quieter fan. I had an older Honeywell tower fan which is awesome, minus the top panel stopped working and you have to use the remote, its still useful to this day. It was just noisy, and I lost a lot of features with that top panel of buttons not working. So I figured its time for an upgrade, and with all those recommendations and the luck I had with this other Honeywell I have had for many many years, I got this fan. - The initial hookup and impression - After receiving one fan that was broken, I got this one and it seemed in good shape. I set it up, which was easy. The base is a little worrisome on build quality, but if you are careful snapping it together, it shouldnt be an issue. Then I plugged it in and turned it on. This was when the disappointment started. - Quiet (Or not?) - The sleep mode had very little air noise. Great. However, there is this annoying vibration motor buzzing noise that makes up for it. All I heard was BUUUZUUZUZUUZUZUZUZUZUUUUZUZUZUZUZUZU (yeah, like that). It drove me nuts. Id rather have a noisy tower fan with lots of air noise. I turned it up to level 5, (which is called Relax), which is what I consider the first power setting and it sounded more like a normal fan then. However, after a few seconds, it starts this weird vibration noise again. THUMTHUMTHUMTHUMTHUM but make it like x100 faster than how you can say it with your mouth. Not as annoying, but still annoying. If I were to squeeze the fan with my hands, the noise would stop, which to me suggests a problem with something loose or a design issue with handling vibrations from the motor. I contacted Amazon, being annoyed because this was my second fan, and was graciously given a refund. - Feedback to Honeywell - Being very disappointed, I contacted Honeywell and conveyed my disappointment with this product. They responded by asking me a few questions and then to my surprise sent me a new one, no charge or anything. I have now received yet another one of these Fans, and guess what. IT STILL DOES THE SAME THING! So this has to be a design issue, or Im the unluckiest person in the world when it comes to fans. Is it useful? Sure. Is it worthy of being called a Quietset? Not in my eyes. It may make less air noise than many other fans, but that motor vibration buzz sound is just too much for me. I cant say if this would be as annoying to you other customers or not, but its definitely not as quiet as I was led to believe. - Performance and Design - The power is pretty good. People say its weak, but in my moderate-sized bedroom, I think it does pretty well. If it wasnt for that noise, it would be perfect for me. The design itself though is pretty well done. It looks nice, and its very skinny and lightweight. The LED on top isnt that bad, you can turn it way down via the button on the control panel and I didnt find it intrusive at night at all. So overall, if I could do it again, I wouldnt purchase this fan. Its just not worth it, especially for the price. The annoying vibration motor noise is just too much. So since I have it, I will make use of it in the noisy times of my residence in the noisiest of areas or at least with a lot of traffice, but for what I was looking for in my bedroom, it looks like I will have to look elsewhere.
