First of all, let me say what a nice-looking fan this is. I spent too much time picking the decor for my little abode to want to have an ugly fan sitting around! Of course, right now, I have it sitting in the doorway of my bedroom (classy, I know!) because Im seeing how well it cools the room down. As for the rest of the positives: This fan is SOOOO quiet that, at first, I doubted that it would be very cooling. I was wrong. Once I got this assembled (very easy, btw) & figured out the controls (not too hard), I turned my AC off! LOL Being from Alaska, this Iowa heat and humidity is taking some getting used to. Also, Im not very familiar with AC and the costs (except for a horrendous bill in Arizona several years back). My apartment is a nice-sized 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen and living room. There is a ceiling fan in bedroom, but at night, it still can get warm. Since this fan is doing so great at cooling the whole front of the apartment, I plan to put it in doorway of bedroom during the nights. With my AC off right now, I am totally comfortable. Its only 75 degrees out this morning, so I will see how well this helps when the temps rise (the other day, it was around 90). Even if I have to use this in conjunction with AC, I will be able to power the AC down a bit to help with the bill. By the way, having a remote will be super nice - when I get the AAA batteries that were not included. A plus is that the remote stores so neatly in the back of the fan. NOTE: For assembly, its easier it you follow the pictures/directions on the box flap rather than using the booklet. The booklet makes it seem more complicated than it really is.

I love this fan. If youre looking for a great fan that works well, is safe around pets and small kids and doesnt take up much space, this is perfect. Love it! Highly recommended.

The first one we ordered had a broken fan motor possibly. It made a loud noise intermittently, but the replacement works great. Quiet and decent air flow on low mode even. We keep it on high as its quiet. It does have a nice white noise mode too where it creates a rumble-like sound. Also shipped quicker than advertised(received next day).

Look, fans never ever come with 100% perfection. It’s a fan. Being realistic about expectations, I actually expected it to be louder considering the previous fan I had was supposed to be higher tech and cost more, but this fan is less expensive (this exact fan is $5 more at Target as of this week!!) and it’s quieter, has more setting options, and is taller which is great for laying in bed and getting the effects. There’s 8 settings so everyone can find a temperature that agrees with them. Even the highest setting is doable in terms noise and being able to sleep or watch tv and have it still be a reasonably comforting sound. The remote is great, simple and easy to use. The fan oscillates, has a sleep timer, the light is a very chill blue. It’s all good. The only things I don’t like or understand are: 1) the base is not super sturdy. If you see how lightweight the whole thing is, and the base is even lighter, and so narrow, there’s no way it can be super sturdy. It also doesn’t attach very sturdily. However it’s NOT just going to oscillate and fly off the base. You just need to be aware that it’s not a super securely connected base. 2) the header says tower fan + mini fan…that is misleading. It’s just the one piece (the big tower fan).

This remote has poor range and the buttoms are hard to use. You have to press them exactly right or they dont work. The fan was quiet at first but after about 4 months it started to get noisy.

After less than a year of minimal usage the fan is no longer quiet. It rattles and makes a ticking sound, even on the lowest speed setting, and yes the base connection is tight. We really liked how quiet it was in the beginning, since this feature was why it was purchased. Cant recommend it if you are looking for a quiet fan.

This fan does its job well. The many different speeds are quite useful to get a range of assistance depending on the current air temp. Even at ~80°F and at the second to max speed this fan could cool me and my room sufficiently. However, within 2 weeks of receiving this fan the servo that oscillates it back and forth started to degrade to the point that on both max points (where it switches direction) the fan shakes/is rickety such that it is too noisy. It still cools well if I turn off the oscillation and stay in front of it, but it doesn’t circulate around the room as well. This is a normal thing that happens to these types of fans but 2 WEEKS?? A little too soon…

After reading the most recent reviews up to May 2020, and old reviews from 2019, 2018, etc, there were good and bad reviews. The bad reviews were complaining: > How the instructions didnt make sense > How the AC is too loud > Its too weak to be worth it > Plastic Material > Stopped working If you have the money and youre not stingy with money, then buy yourself a more EXPENSIVE AC fan. But if you just need a AC Fan for a room or a living room or even if youre just working on your car inside your garage, this will do the job, like seriously. I rate this 10/10 for the price and what it does. Ive been having this Honeywell Fan for 2 years now, and I never had a problem with it, seriously. If you take care of it like how youre supposed to take care of things, no matter what it is, it will take care of you. That means dont over use it when youre not really using it. Its that simple. There are no cons for me with this fan. For example, whats the difference of buying a expensive purse and a inexpensive purse? The Price and Brand. But the use of the two? It has the same purpose. If you dont take care of either one, then youll always have a reason to blame the product. Same goes for this fan. So whoever is indecisive about this Fan, follow what I am stating right now and youll be fine. Also, I have a 750 sq ft 1 bedroom studio. This cools down my entire room. No BS. Especially that Im from California, where the weather is bipolar, and when its summer, its really hot. This fan will relieve your stress from being too hot.
