Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

We bought several of these alarms to mount as deterrents in most of the rooms with an outside access point. They are great for scaring off intruders especially with the warble tone.

Does not plug into 3 prong. Maybe Im an idiot for not realizing this but it was annoying to discover.

Used as add on siren for another alarm system. Worked great.

Works completely as advertised - BUT when you power one input, the 12V signal goes out the other input. If this is a problem, it can be fixed with a diode at each input, anode to your driving circuit, cathode to the input. Diode needs to be rated for your voltage and at least 1/2 amp. I used a 1N4007 because I had them on hand.

Loud little siren, cant get over the sound and the price is very reasonable.

but people will not hear it outside The price is right to buy multiple units. Have 1 inside and one outside under the eaves of each end of the house.. Outside sirens are connected in series with a fuse so if a burglar were to short out the power wire on one, it will not short out other sirens or the entire alarm.

Nice loud sound - the cover pops up to easy though.. a firmer close would be noice but dont let that stop you from purchasing...

Very loud, I connected it to to the outlet with Wifi mini plug and Connected to Google home, so I can turn it on or of any time I need.

This finally worked. At 2 AM, it sounded off and blew me out of bed-scared the hell out of my wife.
