Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

This thing will wake everyone in the house! Great sound quality! Love that it has dual power input. I have the Warble plugged into a Smart Plug for my Security System and the Constant tone plugged into my Leak Detectors. When this thing goes off I jump clean out of my skin! Great intruder deterrent.

The ítems arrived dirty and broken

I put this siren in my garage to test because I was expecting it to be too loud to be in the same room. Nope. I could hear it going off in the garage, but it wasnt so loud that it would have been hear by a neighbor unless they had their windows open and were sitting quietly. I purchased a 30W horn (warble and constant) for about the same money and you cannot be in the room when its going off! Its mounted outdoors (this one is not intended for outdoors) and there is no way the neighbors wouldnt hear it. So, if you just want a local, indoor alarm, then this will work. But its not going to get anyones attention outside of that.

You have to install your own wire but overall the sound is loud and I used an old 12V adapter so that I could plug it in 110V outlet. It works perfectly well and sounds can be heard outside the house.

This siren stood up to my preferences compared to other models. Most importantly the siren is compatible with my alarm system.

Added this to my current system. Loud and easy to install. Has choice of 2 siren sounds.

Hooked it up to my system in the basement and it has worked great.
