Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

It is okay not what I expected

Just received today so cant speak to the longevity of the product, but can tell you when 12 volts is applied it is deafening

This baby is perfect for loudness and putting out and annoying siren! I have bought 2 other sirens and this one is the best! If you want a siren to scare intruders away, look no further!

No matter what I do I only get the solid tone. Its loud though. It has connections to choose the alarm sound but they both produce the same buzzer sound.

Functioned fine for almost 3 years. Died w/o warning. Not what I want in a malfunction notification alarm. I used this as a low oil pressure indicator on a 43HP diesel engine. Fortunately I test the alarm before every start, thus I was informed of its demise. While working it was loud enough be heard over the engine noise where the original piezo-electric alarm would be easy to not hear. Warble mode was very noticeable.

Given how small it was, I was mildly concerned that it wouldnt be loud enough. Even when I expected it to start going off, it was startlingly loud. Perfect.

Oh my goodness, cant believe an $8 siren will be this loud. It is very good for my project. I bought two and attached them on wifi smartplugs on our back deck and front porch where I have Arlo cameras installed. So if I see anyone suspicious roaming around our property, I control the siren with smartplug and scare them off. You do need to connect the siren wires to a 12v power adapter which is very simple.
