> 3 dayI was skeptical about this one but, as soon as the UPS man delivered it my 2 ½ year old boy wanted to go on it. I let him go 1 time inside but, told him after that it was an outside only potty. We have used it at least 6 times in 2 days and Im mostly very pleased with it. Setup is very easy (just make sure you hear the click when locking the legs in place) but, the built in deflector is somewhat small. Until he learns to hold it down we are going to have to take off his pants and training pants so his legs sit wide enough that it points down automatically (you Mothers of boys know what Im talking about). Also unlocking/folding the legs was a little hard the first couple of times but, it seams to get easier every time. I looked at a couple different portable potty chairs before deciding on this one. The other 2 options were both bulky and 1 didnt have a deflector and the other sealed so you had to carry the waste home and clean it out. Overall, I am very pleased with this seat.

> 3 dayThere are so many travel potty seats out there, but I love the fact that this can be used as a stand alone potty. When first potty training this was crucial as some outings just didnt have bathrooms nearby and it was critical to be successful and always have a potty available. Were well established with potty training now, but weve moved states since then and with traveling back home for the holidays this past Thanksgiving/Christmas with 8-9 hour car trips, it made our stops so much quicker and easier when we needed to make a quick potty stop without needing to eat, etc. We just set up the potty with the liner in the van, then buckled back in and we were off again without all the unnecessary time since little ones need to go so much more often. The seat is much bigger for this reason, making it not as convenient to store in the diaper bag and not at all discrete as youre toting your toddler to the bathroom with it under your arm at a store or restaurant. You really dont realize how non-standard toilet seats/shapes are until you go through this stage. When using on a standard toilet it isnt aways a perfect fit, but Ive never had an unstable fit where I was concerned about it not being safe or anything.

Greater than one weekThis product was amazing on our last road trip! We didn’t have to take our kids into any nasty gas station bathrooms or “scary” rest area vault toilets. We set up the potty right outside one of their car doors on the Pavement of rest stops or on side roads in the rural areas, and we used a pop up windshield shade as a privacy screen. Boy age 6 and girl age 4. We now keep it in the car for when we go hiking or biking, all the park restrooms are closed due to Covid. I’ve even carried it in my hiking daypack! The bags are worth the price too

> 3 dayWe carry this with us in the car whenever we go out. It has a little plastic case that comes with it, but we use that to store the bags, and got a separate (washable) bag to carry the potty in. Its fantastic. Going out to eat and dont want to balance your toddler on the big toilet seats? Bring this along, lay it flat and your toddler is comfortable and protected from germs! On a road trip and dont want to risk a gas station restroom, or your toddler needs to go NOW and youre on a stretch of open road? No problem! You click the potette into the seat position (note that people complain about the seat collapsing, but it wont do that if you just click the legs into their place. You MUST click/lock it in to the upright or flat position, otherwise its not stable), put it in the back of your wagon, or in the back seat on a relatively flat surface, or on the side of the road even, your toddler sits down and pees/poops, you tie up the bag and knot it (please dont litter - just store the bag in the back of your car, or the trunk until you can toss it in the garbage - if you knot the bag, you dont smell it), and boom, you are on your way! My daughter loves it - she prefers going on the potty in the car rather than going into an unfamiliar restroom, and on more than one occasion, its been a lifesaver pulling over by the side of the road for an emergency pit stop. Its all plastic and is easily wiped down by a disinfectant wipe, and takes up little room when stored flat. You can buy refill liners for about 50 cents a bag (I got a 30 pack from Wal-Mart for 40 cents a bag), which some might say is costly, but we only use them when we go out, so 30 should last us a long time. When we ran out of our initial supply that comes with the potty, I did use plastic grocery bags (make sure there are no holes in the bag!) and some left over absorbent pads from my pregnancy kit. You can save money by going this route, but you either have to carry around a bag of womens panty liners/pads and grocery bags, or do it up in advance and then fold them all flat so they are ready to go. That seems like a lot of work to me, so we just buy the pre-made ones from Kalencom. The only negative I can comment on about this potty is that its not ideal as your primary potty seat for potty training. I like that its all plastic for easy clean-up on the go, but we did end up buying a cushioned potty seat for at-home potty training. When your toddler is sitting for a long time on the potty, cushioning is nice, and our daughter found this seat too uncomfortable when sitting for long periods of time. However, now that she is fully potty trained, she could use this seat for everyday use at home just fine. Overall, I highly recommend the Potette and its definitely one of our best purchases for our toddler.

Greater than one weekI dont tend to write many reviews but this potty seat is amazing. Ive succesfully potty trained my 16month old!! Never even thought that was possible, I bought this when he was 12months old, using it maybe 1-2 times a week and then within a months time he was pooping in the toilet in 2 months time he wa telling me when he had to go, and we would rush to the potty and hed go both pee and poop. Its great because I can bring it with me when I go somewhere and I can slip it on and off our toilet. I was never a fan of the childrens pottys that you have to dump their pee and poop into the toilet. Gross. This is the best way to go. Its secure and has easy grips on the side which Ive taught him to hold onto. I havent tried the bags that go with it yet but Ill be buying those now since he is becoming more and more vocal before soiling his diaper. I highly recommend this. Although every baby is different, this has worked for us!

> 3 dayThis has saved our lives so many times! It’s lightweight and easy to pack in a small bag or include in your diaper bag. We keep in the car when traveling, stow under the stroller, and even in a backpack when we go bike riding. Our kid is happy to pee on the turtles (the lining) and we never have to use a gross public restroom! Just buy it and keep with you for those long car rides, short car rides, or bring with you on any outing.

> 3 dayI just got this a couple of days ago, but weve already put it to good use. My daughter has just decided to be potty trained, and I wanted to be serious about it. So, a day after she started, we went to a doctors appointment. I had no clue what to do about going in public with a toddler who wasnt wearing a diaper, so I decided to take our regular potty seat. It was big and bulky and barely fit in my diaper bag (I have a 6-month old, too, so the bag was packed out). When I came home from that appointment, is when I decided to look for an alternative to the regular potty seat. Someone told me about the foldable seats, and thats what I was going to get. Then I came across the potette 2-in-1. It seemed to be exactly what I needed. Were going on a few trips this summer, and toilets might not always be around, so I really needed something that could be both a potty seat and a potty chair. Its small enough to easily fit in a packed out diaper bag (dont get me wrong, its still bulky, but I cant imagine it being any smaller than it is), it comes in nice bag to keep everything else around it sanitary, and its just an all-around great concept! My daughter has successfully used it as a seat on a regular sized toilet out in public twice already. She hasnt used it as a potty chair yet, but I did have her sit on it to test it out. Its very sturdy. I cant say enough good things about this product and will be recommending it to all my friends! UPDATE: Its been a week and we have used this item so many times, and both ways - as a chair and a a seat on a regular toilet. This one product has been so instrumental in keeping the potty training going away from home. Weve used it in the car, in a parking lot, in public restrooms, at church, at a park....everywhere! Its a must-have.

> 3 dayThis has saved us on long car trips a few times now. Once I started potty training with my toddler, I knew this kind of thing would be necessary as we live in LA and being stuck in the car for long periods is normal. We also like to travel and do some local car trips. When you are coasting on the highway or stuck in traffic around town and your new-to-potty-training kid says I need to go! I need to go! you dont have much time to drive to pull off and find a gas station. I just climb into the back seat and assist her as she goes right in the Potette on the side of the road with no problems! Its also much nicer than most gas station bathrooms anyway. Also good for camping when you dont want to walk your kid to the restroom in the middle of the night. A great tip from other reviewers: buy a pack of cheap panty liners and place one inside the plastic bag. They absorb everything and are way cheaper than what Potette sells. The legs do click in place and are sturdy once you hear that click sound. I keep one in each car.

> 3 dayThis thing is great. We use it in public restrooms, the park, the side of the road, everywhere. It folds up and fits in a backpack which means its always with me.

> 3 dayI bought this because I needed a portable potty for my son. He is fully potty trained but doesnt tell us he needs to go until he is about to pee himself. I was really tired to hovering him over the toilet (thank goodness he is small for his age or else id drop him right in) especially with a bad back and weak arms. I was really looking into the foldup ones for convenience but saw that it was not sturdy and did not fit public toilets. I am so glad i found this. it folds up nicely and is sturdy. I am so happy i read reviews because i found on another review that to use it in a sitting position/potty you have to push it up to lock in place. Anyways the day i got this in the mail my sister took my kids and me to the park and as soon as we got there my son was doing the pee pee dance. I pulled this out, popped the legs in place, popped the baggy in it, put it behind the tree, shimmied down his chones and plopped him on there. He was a bit confused cuz the bag and all but he did his thing and it was all gravy. We also used it on our toilet at home. He loves it. And i love it. =) I get compliments on this all the time. He tells me he needs to go, i bring this out, pop the sides out, put it over the toilet and put him on it. I have yet to find a toilet yet that it didnt fit. ;) .
